That's the double standard - INJURED players treated in a completely different manner.

So, if Brady was injured and missed all of camp, you'd be all for cutting him?

I guess I keep forgetting that every injury is the same and every player is the same.
I hope Brady doesnt get the same injury Demps has, or we will have to put him on IR

Again, how does that matter? You just said the rules should be different for him.
You didn't even answer the question.

Was Brian Waters injured when he signed a contract with the New England Patriots?

and you didn't answer the question of what possible motivation there could be to treat these players differently when their situation is exactly the same, as you implied. Among many others you didn't answer.
I am asking for information to understand your bizarre viewpoint, you are asking rhetorical questions.

Shiancoe has no past history with this organization whatsoever to be given preferential treatment.

So a double standard is alright if one of the players has been with the team for a while?

What does that have to do with anything?
He has been in the league a number of years and been a very effective player.
What in the world type of logic do you operate under?
You shouldn't make the correct decision, you should make a list of past contributions to this team?
So, I guess we should have cut Moss in 2007 when he was hurt for all of the preseason, and nothing he had ever done in the NFL factored into the decision because he didn't do it as a Patriot?
You can't really believe what you are saying can you?

Possible motivation should not trump preferential treatment with regard to injured newcomers.

Ask Bill Belichick about Tracy White this preseason. Patfanken wants to know.

What???????
I am asking you what the motivation to make the decision you disagree with was. BBs motivation in doing something you think it moronic, ill advised, and negligent to his job duties.

Why would BB make sure a decision.
Hint: The answer is he wouldn't, because the assumptions you are making are naive and ignorant.

Tracy White has been one of the best special teamers on the team, and in the league since he has been here. What problem do you have with him?
Do you not watch that he is the first player down the field on 90% of the kickoffs?
Does he have to practice injured, and aggrivate his injury so he won't be able to play in the regular season, to prove to you he belongs on the team?

I guess Daniel Fells is not up to your standards as the backup tight end for the New England Patriots. Four tight ends on the 53 man roster is overkill especially when the fourth one can't even find the practice field. Take into account another tight end on PUP and another on the practice squad, the New England Patriots currently have six tight ends under contract.

Tracy White has earned the trust of this organization.

......and let me add, seeing as how, apparently, this is only a priority to Bill Belichick..........He can friggin' TACKLE:rocker:

1.) I have Ken on ignore, so I don't care what he wants to know

2.) You haven't answered the questions:

a - Should they cut Brady if he misses all of camp due to injury?
b - Are double standards ok if one of the players has been with the team for a while?
c - when did you become the arbiter of who's earned the Patriots trust?

a - Should they cut Brady if he misses all of camp due to injury?
Veteran Pro Bowl players who have previously played with this organization deserve the right to a roster spot.

b - Are double standards ok if one of the players has been with the team for a while?

Can't make the club from the tub especially when that unknown entity can't even find the practice field.

You do realize that in all liklihood, Gaffney who chose to come here and reportedly will not listen to other offers, is a no risk cut, and Shiancoe who would be at the least a #2 TE on over 3/4s of the teams in the NFL is far less likely to pass up other offers, which include one he debated over before signing here, right?
If that is the case, Shiancoe does not really want to play for and is not fully committed to the New England Patriots.

Pretty much everyone on the roster fits that description if that is your conclusion.

Apparently this is another thing you are wrong about, isnt it?

Not everyone on the roster is a 32 year old backup JAG tight end nursing an injury.
