Patriots Rumor Tracker / FA Signings (Updated: Signings in OP - 4/7)

Peerless Price was the best I could think of.
Carl Pickens, Anthony Miller, Willie Gault, our own Donte’ Stallworth & Cordarrelle Patterson.

I totally forgot about Stallworth and Patterson. Never heard of the other guys…before my time

A year ago Vrabel inherited the worst team in football. A month ago they were in the Super Bowl. Now they suck and don't know what they are doing.

One of the following us true:

A) Mike Vrabel doesn't know what he is doing, he sucks.

B) Some fans don't know what they are talking about, they suck.

Take your pick.
You are right. We need to get rid of Vrable.

Time to bring back Mayo. He knew how to get us a top 5 pick every year so we can have more impressive offseasons.

So the Patriots can't sign, trade for, or draft a receiver?

AJ Brown is the only way to improve at receiver?
Well draft wise, it’s been since 2009 (in the 7th ! Round) with Julian Edelman. And it doesn’t seem to matter who the Coach or GM is. Edelman was our last home grown WR who wound up great. 17 years ago.

1,000 followers, definitely legit.

As was shown by:

Again, I just figured I would post it. I figured it probably isn’t real. It was an interesting trade possibility.

How in the hell did we get to 47 pages in one day lol

Miller was a 5 time Pro Bowler. Pickens was a rookie of the year for Dallas. Gault was a speed demon for the Bears, but I don’t think her was ever elite.

Pickens never played for Dallas.

He just signed a 3 year extension with Titans in September. Seems unlikely

This is the second time today I've sort of seen you refer to Maye like how he plays now is how he's going to play forever.

Mahomes didn't turn into "MAHOMES" until he stated taking the easy cheese.
I think mahomes in his second season almost beat us i.e. his rookie season after 1st year of just riding on the bench.

Maye had played more games and totally flopped in post season. If we are being honest , Maye is an enigma still and definitely not on the same pedestal as mahomes was in his second season.

Mahomes is baby GOAT after Brady .

What the flying **** does Bill Belichick's failures in drafting wide receivers have to do with Vrabel's Patriots? Please tell me you are not so ****ing stupid as to think that what happened under a different coaching staff has anything to do with the current regime running the Patriots. Because if you are that stupid then there is absolutely no point in having any conversation with you. Vrabel took a 4-13 dumpster fire of a team, gutted the roster, crushed both free agency and the draft, then went 17-4, won the AFC Championship, and lost in the final. They never lost a game on the road until the Suorr Bowl. Now, 1/2 a day into free agency you are pitching a fit and acting like he doesn't know what he's doing, when the truth is that you are so ignorant that you believe the team is still run by Bill Belichick. Seriously, you and the other fans like you act like 3 year olds any time things don't go exactly the way you want. You throw a temper tantrum and start talking **** about the players, coaches, or team. It's exactly like what happened with Drake Maye this season, and as predicatable as the sun rising. He's tearing it up, playing like a league MVP in only his 2nd season, and first season in the most complicated offense in football. Everyone is loving it and he's getting his due for his accomplishments. Then they lose to Buffalo and the crybaby contingent of fans start crying that he doesn't have 4th quarter comebacks, when the truth of the matter is that he hadn't behind in the 4th quarter of games all season. Just like Vrabel if it isn't perfect then he's a piece of **** that doesn't know what he's doing. It's pathetic, disgraceful, and always predictable.

I’m not giving up a 1 in that scenario. Teams do not trade WR’s on rookie deals unless something is very off. Buyer beware.
He had 10 drops last year. Red flaggish

Who’s left to sign that’s a free agent? Who are they drafting at 31 that’s going to have a day 1 impact?

So day 1 is what really matters? Not their career, but day 1?

They now HAVE to upgrade the line and TE or the fullback won’t matter.

Lorenzo Neal couldn’t open holes behind this line.
Makes me believe they will, but didn’t want to pay the premium prices on the top of market guys to do it.

Imagine for a minute that you get hired to run a failing business. The guy who ran it before you did a great job for years, then let the business fall apart before getting fired and moving on. Then you come in, revamp everything. Get rid of over half of the staff and bring in all sorts of replacements for them who do a great job and make your business one of the top 2 in America in your field. Then, a month later, after a few hours preparing for your next year you do a review with the owner and ask for a raise, then he tells you he can't do it. You ask why and tell him what great year the business had. Then he says that while that may be true you still suck because the guy before you did a ****ty job his last five years.

That's what the crybaby contingent of Patriot "fans" are doing right now:
