Patriots Rumor Tracker / FA Signings (Updated: Signings in OP - 4/7)

Some of you just want to get something for nothing. I would do Brian Thomas Jr for 31 and the Jags send us Third back in return.

Pointing out your errors isn't getting something for nothing.

Of course you'd be stupid enough to do that deal. The Jags would be laughing all the way to the draft at that deal..

Side note but all the chuds in this fanbase that whine every year about how we didn't sign "player X" or the "Why aren't we making any moves?!" are so tiresome. I feel like I have said it 100x but I swear our fanbase has to be dumber than the average by quite a bit.

Never underestimate the stupidity of the average fanbase.

Why would they do that? He was 23rd overall. My guess is they want a R1 and a R3 or R4. Otherwise, take the 700 yards per year and call it good. He's a valuable asset on a rookie deal.

Well I would do it and we have amo including Two Fourths. So 31st and a Fourth it is: we can cut bait if he flops dude is not even 24 yet.

LOL, man, personnel guys would love you if you were GM. They'd have day one and day two of the draft off every year if you were in charge, because you would have traded away all of those picks ahead of the draft. Everybody could work remotely for two days and come in on day three to select the late rounders.

WOW.. Must be nice to just throw away a 1st round pick like it's nothing..
Selection 31 is basically Top of the Second round: stop overvaluing things it's not Top 10.

So you don't think a soon to be 24 year old WR: who have shown he can play in this league is worth that??

Ignorance is bliss in your case. You're forgetting the important 5th year option that gives added control to teams.

You really should go to the Jetes Boards. You'd fit right in.

It's a odd situation IMO. Why would they deal him now?

Give me Doubs or Jennings and call it good. Move on to the next thing.

Doubs at 20 million is not a good signing. He’s not even an upgrade over what they have. I’m not sure why people are fawning over a possession receiver who has been mid for his career.

I get what you're saying, but he's not the guy I'd expend that type of capital for.

I've finally figured you out: this is just a shtick
You post what you post because it makes you laugh sucking all these people in.
Right? Because no way you actually believe any of the stuff you post.

Sorry we need the first rounder to draft RT or RG of future . Far more valuable than trying it on a wr who can potentially fail.

A 2nd and 4th is ok

Be careful what you wish for: it's said only Kyle Shanahan can scheme J Jennings open. I'm not a Huge Fan our our current OC.
