Their job is to make the team better, not worse. Our best receiver is gone, and I’m thinking their idea was that they will get a better WR, didn’t happen, and nobody left is better. Hooper is gone, and though I wasn’t a fan of 2025 Hooper, they literally have ZERO NFL TEs except and aging Henry. They need someone better than Hooper, and ideally better than Henry. Oline is a disaster.
Dude.. Go take a valium.. It's literally the 1st day of the TAMPERING period. It's not even full free agency. Lots can happen between now and Wednesday.
The O-line isn't a disaster. It's being rebuilt. Just like the entirety of the rest of the team.
Since you aren't paying attention to anything that's not directly in front of your nose, this is a very deep draft at TE and Edge. It also has good depth at LB, CB and WR. The O-line has decent depth with a lot of OTs projected to be moved inside.. More so than normal.
Yeah, i was hoping for McGovern. But he resigned with the Bills.. I didn't want Edwards because I didn't think he was actually much of an upgrade over Wilson. Didn't want Zion Johnson.
I can see that the Pats are looking to continue their rebuild by adding an excellent FB in Gilliam who also plays a lot of special teams. Including on kick returns where he acts as the lead blocker to help extend kick-off returns.
I like the addition of Dre'Mont Jones. Hoping for another Edge guy. Whether it's Chaisson or the Draft. But with the prices of Edge jumping so ridiculously, Chaisson may no longer be an option and the contract for Jones may actually change between now and Wednesday.
