Yep, free agency is over. Looks like the Patriots will have to play next season with 23 guys. Nothing they can do about it. Probably won't win more than a game or two.

That's because they don't know what they are doing. None of them have ever had any experience with professional football before. Don't know why Kraft hired them. I doubt the Patriots will ever win another game. Better wear a helmet outside, the sky is falling.

For sure.. Boutte should be signed regardless. He's a growing player and has established himself as a good deep threat WR.. we still need another Guy that can dictate coverage... get another guy and let's hope to see if Williams takes off this season!

Just how many WRs and TEs have the Vrabel group drafted/developed?

Last I looked, they drafted 1 WR in Kyle Williams. He's a work in progress.

You can't judge Vrabel by the Mayo or Belichick in terms of drafting WR/TE..

BTW, There are still plenty of Vets on the market at all the positions mentioned. Also, this draft happens to be strong at TE, WR, Edge and LB..

little early on this, AJ Brown trade could happen after June.

This group has drafted 1 receiver (Kyle Williams) and ZERO Tight Ends. how are they so bad at drafting and developing pass catcher based on that?

Their job is to make the team better, not worse. Our best receiver is gone, and I’m thinking their idea was that they will get a better WR, didn’t happen, and nobody left is better. Hooper is gone, and though I wasn’t a fan of 2025 Hooper, they literally have ZERO NFL TEs except and aging Henry. They need someone better than Hooper, and ideally better than Henry. Oline is a disaster.

Overly pessimistic. FA just began, they're gonna make more moves and there are still good players available at all their positions of need. Still TEs out there. Still LGs out there. For all we know they could still swing a trade for Brian Thomas or AJ Brown. They need a LG but OL has as much chance to be elite as it does to be a disaster. Campbell and Wilson develop, land a good LG, draft a swing tackle, and you're looking pretty good. Don't panic yet is all im saying.

I feel exactly the way I felt as I dropped off my landing craft and waded to shore, rifle in my hand in shark infested waters to face German machine guns at Normandy. Needless to say I didn't survive and the Nazi's won the .war. It was almost as bad a day as today.

ILB is a huge need imo. Once Spillane went down, Gibbens played a whole bunch of snaps and he was terrible. Ellis would be a solid backup imo and that's where needs to be. We need someone else next to Spillane. I wouldn't be mad at signing Nakobi Dean.

Elliss is not the answer. Anyone, Nakobi Dean, or other is OK, and a sideline-to-sideline LB in the draft.

I like the Gilliam Pick up.. we need FB.. Jones another solid signing at Edge.. Tonga got paid... provided Farmer can stay healthy he has a chance to fulfill that void..
