I'm scratching my head. He didn't drop a lot of balls in college. Watched him a lot and loved his game.

Yesterday was yipsee day. Can't have too many of those.

He was open - a lot - however.

At this point, I want Douglas, Boutte, Baker and Polk to all play a ton. Players have bad games. Before this, I saw one drop and a ton of missed opportunities.
Baker? Did you say Baker?

C'mon dude. You have faith in Wallace and Robinson? Baker had stone hands in college and then drops easy balls in preseason against guys who are at home on the couch. Without using Google, who were our 2024 draft picks in rounds 5 to 7? LOL. We have to wait to see the amazing talent. Too funny.

Look at the 2023 draft. Gonzo, White, Mapu, Boutte, Douglas, Baringer, and Sow, and maybe J Andrews and Bolden. Do you see any difference?
We'll see at years end barring injuries of course. Polk know I'm disappointed with his performance yesterday...he promises to brush it up.

You think Polk will run faster and cut quicker in the last half of the season. Physically limited.
Yes Starting in London.

Start him in Your fantasy football next week don't say I didn't tell you.

One thing from yesterday I couldn't believe: much of the time, even on third and long, they were leaving Jacobs alone against Will Anderson and Danielle Hunter.

I mean, chip the damn guy with a back or put a TE there to give Jacobs a step - he physically couldn't handle those two, and both are elite coming off the edge.

That was bad. The hit Hunter put on Drake could have ended his season.
That's AVP with his Madden Offense with Adjusted Sliders the AI O-Linemen can miraculously block elite pass rushers. Get in the real world AVP.

Polk creates ZERO separation. Polk depends on his hands. Now his hands suck. Can you see where this is going?
Your right let's just cut him! Now. Bust 2nd rounder. It's waaaaay to premature for this.. as I said all the WRs need to get a pass judge them from now on. They had no qb for 5 games. I'm suprise at you one. Look he had a bad game yesterday he's a rookie. Let him settle in.

If he had physical skills I would be more patient.

He can High Point the Football so there.
When a WR highpoints the ball he has to catch it with his HANDS. OOOOPPPPsssss. Polk has stone hands, I almost forgot about that.

I should be able to remember because your favorite recievers all have stone hands, Polk and Baker. The good news is that other than their stone hands, they are also slow.

@PatsFan2.. I give all of our WRs a pass this season.. playing with Brissett.. let's correctly judge our WR room from here on out.. I think people are too hard on polk.. guys a rookie.. give him a chance.
It’s difficult to be too hard on a guy who has been a starting WR for 6 games and compiled a total of 78 receiving yards. I don’t know that any WR ever has done that poorly regardless of the qb.
It is epically bad, perhaps worst ever, or at least since the passing game rules changed.

Here is some perspective.
2020 NKeal Harry with Cam Newton at QB in 14 games and 9 starts. 33 catches for 309 yards.
That’s 2.4 for 22.1 per game.

2024 Polk 6 games 5 starts 10 catches for 78
That’s 1.7 for 13 per game
Harry produced 41% more catches and 70% more yards.

To add salt to the wound Harry caught 57% of his targets, Polk is catching a horrifically low 43%.

He’s been given a chance in 6 games and may have posted the worse production numbers for a starting WR in the last 40 or 50 years.

He has had 6 bad games.

You guys are tough.

He does. Was his first game this season with a real QB

I am not going to rehash the combine numbers, that would only embarrass you and I try to be nice to you and @PatsFan2 (same poster BTW - it is hilarious when you talk to yourself like no-one knows it is the same person). Polk is a 3rd or 4th round pick. Baker is a 5th or 6th round pick. 4.5+ second 40 yard dash with one of the highest drop rates in college football. Boutte and Douglas are 6th round picks and better than Polk and Baker.

"He does"? OK I believe you unless you can not post unbiased performance numbers to prove your point. Good luck!!! LOL.

Two players, both rookies and both started against the Texans in their first NFL start. Now player A was on the road so take that into account.

Player A ) 23/37, 174 yards, 0 TD/2 INT, 51.0 passer rating, 4.7 yards per attempt

Player B ) 20/33, 243 yards, 3 TD, 2 INT, 88.3 passer rating, 7.4 yards per attempt
