I don't know that Lawrence is elite.. he's played better than usual.. for a #1 pick it's this the way he should have been playing?

The formula for us to advance is running the ball, and utilizing the TEs over the middle..

I was talking about Houston. But our formula is to put it in Drake Mays shoulders. Run the ball enough to keep the defense honest, success is gravy, and use the entire field and all 5 weapons in the passing game.
The second we start playing “stay on schedule” offense and abandon the focus on chunk plays, our season will be over.

Certainly possible the pressure could get to Maye. He’s an unknown.

What is known? Herbert lost his first playoff game blowing a 27-0 lead, and threw 4 interceptions in his 2nd and only other playoff game. They should be worrying that regular season Herbert shows up, and not banking on Maye succumbing to the pressure.

Lawrence has a career of mediocre and 11 games of mediocre this year leading up to a hot streak.
Mayes ability has been apparent from the first game he started and only held back by the ****show surrounding him last year.

The way I would decide this is who do I take to win me a game this weekend all things else being equal.

Mahomes pre-ACL and Allen would come first.

But I'd take Maye ahead of the rest right now... ahead of Burrow, Herbert and Stafford.

Lawrence is on the next tier just slightly ahead of Lamar Jackson.

That's not an issue at all. Not surprised fans that haven't watched Maye all year would hope for that.

The one issue I could see early is Maye being too hyped. Saw that earlier in the season and it is his first playoff game. Hopefully Josh gives him a couple of easy throws to start the game and gets him calmed down or Maye has just learned to control that adrenaline and not an issue anyways.

That defense is good but far from Elite. Colts went up and down the field on them, next good Offense they played was the Jaguars who blew them out, next good offense was Dallas and Prescott was 21/30, 244 yards, 2 TD's 1 sack and 116.5 rating. They only played 3 good offenses in the last 11 games and did not do well vs any of the 3.
