I was thinking the same thing.I don't love having to face the NFC North, but I love the home/away teams under the circumstances. The only change I'd make there, if I were manipulating things, would be Colts away and Jags home.
No, I could be wrong but I believe that it’s no more than 3 in a row. We played at Pittsburgh in 2016, this year in 2017, and next year in 2018. Prior to that, there were at least 2-3 in Foxborough after the 2011 @PIT matchup.I understand how the teams on the schedule are selected, but how do they determine who is home and who is away? We played in Pitt this year, and we're playing there again next year - they don't just alternate back and forth.

Based on those teams’ current standings, that’s a fairly “easy schedule.”
They do alternate in a way, it's just that Pittsburgh ends up on our schedule for different reasons year to year. Sometimes it's because they placed 1st in their division like us, other times because we play the whole AFCN. The latter situation is predictable--every 3 years the site changes.
