Are you still talking in circles? Demo come find me when you have some proof to support what you're saying, otherwise everything you write holds as much weight in my mind as the letter Hernandez sent from prison that ended up on TMZ.

There's no "proof" involved in this discussion Brady.

I'll repeat, and we can even leave Tebow out of it to illustrate.

Report: Player X tries to bring comfort by sharing beliefs with a child dying of cancer who shares the same beliefs.
Brady6: "That's an awful, despicable thing to do"

I don't have to offer any "proof" that your belief on this is ****ed up. It's self evident.

Off topic discussion???...well then ...it's time for ZEN-KER'S ZIRCONS of ZANINESS!

....ah yes, azz hopper...and if Tebow throw a completion in empty stadium, does it count?....

I saw it with my own eyes, had it happen to me(not death relate) and it was as a 6 year old boy it's despicable, and forceful.

If you can't accept that oh well but I will gladly show you my photo album of my 57 day stay at children's hospital in Boston if you'd like verification that I am far more of an authority on the actual situation you are.

Yeah, go ahead and explain it to me. I spent plenty of time sitting in a hospital with a young cousin of mine who died of Leukemia. I saw what it did for her when something would bring her some happiness and joy.

Not false hope of remission or being cured mind you, but again, happiness and joy. Perhaps even some peace.

I would NEVER even begin to criticize someone for bringing that to a dying child.

By lying to her? Kissing her on the forehead and telling her some strange man he nor she had have met loved her and was going to take care of her real soon? I'm sure she was over joyed.

I'm actually praying to god right now that I don't lose my faith because of this conversation with you.

You guys drive me nuts..I just want to know how Tebow looks in practice- Some times good, most of the time not so good- Whatever- I make my own opinions after reading whatever I can find about each practice- Some days he's hardly mentioned. All this religious garbage needs to go somewhere else.

How old were you during this experience? How many total hours did you spend there? What exactly brought her joy? When she asked you if god existed did you tell her yes? Or that you like to believe he does?

If that brought her some joy and peace, you BET YOUR ASS I would have. As for you praying to God right now, good luck with that. Let us know if someone answers. As I said, I'm an Agnostic Deist so I seriously doubt you'll get a response.

My final post on this matter is that this isn't about Tebow or the Christian religion for me; this is about anyone or any group that forces a belief of any type on a child that is vulnerable. I've experienced it's and I've witness it what it feels like to have someone barter a ginger ale in exchange for me praying with them. It's wrong Demo and I apologize if I've been offensive in any way but this is something I'm very, very passionate about.

On the advice of someone much more level headed that I am, I'm taking this to PM. Ignore it if you want, or respond, I really don't care.

EDIT:

Mu apologies to all for further derailing a previously derailed thread by registering my absolute disgust with what was said.

I wouldn't ignore you, I have no issue with you personally or hard feelings what's ever. We have differing opinions which is fine we don't have to agree on everything. Lets just move on and mix it up on something that maybe we can connect on better. But lets not make this into a personal argument and hold resentments over it. Because I like you just fine and we generally always get along I just am sensitive about this subject.

..we interrupt this thread for an important message from Christian Cat...

It also wouldn't make sense to call you a hater because you haven't engaged in "hating" that I am aware of.

I still have yet to see any example of a person being attacked or called out for criticizing Tebow. I've asked repeatedly for anyone to provide examples and it has yet to be done.

As for criticism, here's a first hand camp report on Tebow from Joker:

http://www.patsfans.com/new-england...-four-monday-july-29-a-page2.html#post3498758

That's far from being a glowing report blowing sunshine up anyone's butt. In fact, it's pretty critical.

Guess what ? No one attacked him for it in any way.

Here's another from the same thread by 50-yard-line:

Again, hardly a flattering report, but yet no criticism or attacks on the poster.

Tune's writeup:

Yet again, a critical review, but no attacks calling him a hater . I did comment in another thread that I disagreed with Tune wrt this being Tebow's ceiling.

Then there are those who will not be named, who instead of offering criticism, throw out a bunch of outlandish BS.

Here's a point to chew on. If it were only us Tebow supporters pointing this kind of stuff out, then others could say that we are showing our own biases or what have you.

BUT< the fact of the matter is that there are long time Pats supporters, guys who appear to not care one way or the other about Tebow who have come out and been just as critical of those posters and have called them out on it as well.

That's rather telling in my opinion.

That's because you're using the word "hater" a bit too literally. In my last post, I just pointed out an example of what you're defending on here. Regardless, though, I'm done in this thread. Thread ignore shall now be activated.

A spat over a third string quarterback.

Quite pathetic.

AT my basis for what I said was not about Tebow. If you read my posts you'd clearly see that I have an issue with the intrusion of religion at hospitals specifically in children's facilities or departments.

I formed that belief on the basis of my own personal experience, and I do not appreciate the implication of it being "quite pathetic".

I treat you with respect whether I agree with what you're saying or not and when I do agree I express admiration for what you've said, I'd appreciate if you'd have the same treatment for me, or at least read my posts, and comprehend the content prior to lumping me into a category of people fighting over Tebow.

I did miss your little edit last night; ironic that at the same time I was writing post 291 in which I spoke highly of you, attempted to move past this respectfully you were editing this post to polarize your disgust in what I had said.

Demo I'm very sorry that my desire to protect the youth of America from unwelcome and uninvited strangers trolling the halls of children's medical facilities looking for marks who are desperate enough to trade a prayer for a ginger ale (yes the happen to me) is disgusting to you.

It was not my dispute; I came into the conversation only based on what I read in a post, I'm not going to say meet me in the religion forum I have something to talk to you about.

And you know what AT give me a break; you came into a Camp thread from 8/1/13, obviously there was nothing new that interested you. You only came in here just to dish out some condescending insult, and we both know it so let keep it real AT.

The fact of the matter is I'm one of the nicest, most respectful, and fair posters in this forum, I accept all feedback even when it is critical as long as it is delivered appropriately. If I have a personal reason to dislike a certain action that someone else suggested as commendable I should be able to do so one time without people who I treat with the utmost respect, regularly compliment and show appreciation to coming at me like a pack.

I'm done with this thread now, but maybe you should really think about what I'm saying because if you did, if you, joker, AB, looked back at all the times I've supported each of your beliefs or made light of something that could being said that could of been viewed as distasteful you'd see that I'm 100% correct for being upset about your reactions to my one time teetering off track.

No hard feelings but I will not lie and say I'm not disappointed with you and the others who chose to insert themselves into this just for the opportunity to degrade or diminish someone.
