It also wouldn't make sense to call you a hater because you haven't engaged in "hating" that I am aware of.

I still have yet to see any example of a person being attacked or called out for criticizing Tebow. I've asked repeatedly for anyone to provide examples and it has yet to be done.

As for criticism, here's a first hand camp report on Tebow from Joker:

http://www.patsfans.com/new-england...-four-monday-july-29-a-page2.html#post3498758

That's far from being a glowing report blowing sunshine up anyone's butt. In fact, it's pretty critical.

Guess what ? No one attacked him for it in any way.

Here's another from the same thread by 50-yard-line:

Again, hardly a flattering report, but yet no criticism or attacks on the poster.

Tune's writeup:

Yet again, a critical review, but no attacks calling him a hater . I did comment in another thread that I disagreed with Tune wrt this being Tebow's ceiling.

Then there are those who will not be named, who instead of offering criticism, throw out a bunch of outlandish BS.

Here's a point to chew on. If it were only us Tebow supporters pointing this kind of stuff out, then others could say that we are showing our own biases or what have you.

BUT< the fact of the matter is that there are long time Pats supporters, guys who appear to not care one way or the other about Tebow who have come out and been just as critical of those posters and have called them out on it as well.

That's rather telling in my opinion.

whoa whoa whoa, your telling me when someone posts something that actually has football related information regarding tebow nobody cares, but when people post about how hes such an "easy to like person" and how he "signs autographs way later then most people" people scoff at him.

Its almost like we are interested in competent football players, and not feel good stories about a guy who just doesnt quit, even if 56% of his throws go in the dirt,

That is just crazy and no wonder morals are falling apart. Kindness and decency has become more of a rarity than the norm as proven in why there is so much talk about Tebow's good deeds. Everyone should be helping others and trying to do their very best in all that the do. People should worry about improving their own life and enjoying life instead of trying to bring other people down and criticizing a guy who is trying to fulfill his dream. One person became famous for a sex tape and one is famous for playing a sport that he loves...no comparison will make sense. Tebow is not the only NFL player that does good deeds, but he does go above and beyond and does not deserve the non-football bashing that he gets. Talk about his playing and you are playing fair...bashing him for helping kids and comparing him to the Kardashians is ridiculus.

...I KNOW it...I'm positive the thread is down here somewhere...stick to the path and look for anything that says "Day Six"...

I don't need to offer anything else as I've demonstrated just how ****ed up your view is.

It's real simple:

Report: "Tebow share's his faith with young kid who is dying, bringing them comfort"

Brady6: "What an awful, terrible, despicable thing to do"

Aside from saying that you are ****ed up, there's nothing else really that needs to be said.

No you haven't you've demonstrated nothing at all, accept you have ZERO to support your argument. And you just blab in circles to try and disguise it.

I don't take it personally don't worry you're lying to yourself way more than you're trying to lie to me.

No, what I'm saying is that contrary to what has been said, when someone actually offers valid criticisms of Tebow, they don't get jumped for it.

But, when someone like you makes some rather stupid statements, THAT is the kind of stuff Tebow supporters take issue with.

I think those things are wonderful and I commend him for doing them. It doesn't change or excuse that what he is saying could be misleading.

What do you think he should be saying to those kids? He is making their last days joyful and giving them hope.

Who's bashing him? I show you articles you can view, I argue facts and you call it bashing. All I get in response is nonsense that I could hear at an AA meeting.

I'm honestly done with this conversation because as I said I do believe in god currently but listening to you guys is causing me to question if the attempt to label it a mental illness is actually merited.

I'm not really involved in a discussion on religion. I'm taking issue with someone who wants to criticize a guy for trying to bring some happiness into the life of a dying kid.

I can point out how ****ed up that is without debating religion itself.
Take your discussion to a more appropriate forum and stop polluting threads designated for football (that goes for your sparring partner too).

By potentially lying to him. How is what Tebow doing any different than the doctor telling them that they're going to get all better real soon?

Someone's had a recovery that was 99.9% unlikely to happen thousands and thousands of times, what Tebow is promising has never been proven to happen not one single time.

Are there any new summaries for today's camp? Nevermind...this isn't even today's thread...still running over from yesterday.

Who's bashing him?

Nah, you aren't bashing him at all.

It actually makes me sick to think of people preying on the weakness of sick children who are desperate for anything positive, and fear what is going to happen to them. In comes Tebow to tell them about a god he's never met and a heaven he's never seen, so he can smile for the camera on the way out the door and put his beliefs into the publics eyes.
.

I criticize anyone who forces something they cannot confirm on to a child at their weakest moment. It's disgusting, and actually until I read that post I didn't think Tebow did that, I thought he donated money to medical causes only, I didn't know he was pouring Kool Aide down the throats of barely breathing children.

You want to rethink that statement ?>

AB you know I never talk about this type of stuff but common how many freakjng excuses do I seriously listen to for this one half ass 3rd string QB.

I think Brady6 is the one doing the polluting... but I digress. This thread should probably just go die a slow death. I'd try to comfort it but Brady6 would think I'm a monster.

You realize how easy it is to simply not reply? If Tebow doesn't see the field as a Patriots player fine. If Tebow scores the Patriots a winning touchdown in the Superbowl then great.

Let's keep it about football. I've had enough of Tebow this Tebow that because he is a 3rd string QB. If someone wants to believe in religion then that's their prerogative. If I don't agree with that belief, I don't have to tell them so. It's easy to keep opinions to yourself.

Are you still talking in circles? Demo come find me when you have some proof to support what you're saying, otherwise everything you write holds as much weight in my mind as the letter Hernandez sent from prison that ended up on TMZ.

Couple of points for the record Aus.

1st, I didn't even come close to starting this one. It's simple enough to see who did.

2nd, actual football hasn't been discussed in this thread for more than 24 hours. It's the Camp Day 6 thread and unfortunately, football discussion in it stopped before midnight on Thursday. Since then, it's all been off topic discussion.

I just don't like the kid situation, I had bad reaction to anesthesia when I was 6, ended up in a coma for 2 weeks and spent nearly 2 months in children's hospital watching kids my own age die and seeing these pamphlet pushers force this crap down their throats.

Needless to say it hit a nerve, I will bring back to football and my sincere apologies for taking it off track.

Depends on if you used the truth to comfort it.
