BTW, for those that are piling onto the Swedes, looks like they're doing just fine

Sweden

STOCKHOLM (MarketWatch) — Residents of this capital radiate a sense of well-being and it’s not only because they live in a beautiful city built on 14 islands that draws comparisons to Venice. It’s also because they call home one of Europe’s fastest growing economies.......

We did well during the financial crisis partly due to us having a monetary buffer that took most of the hit for us, so other countries had to recover alot more that us. But as noted in the article we are a small economy that lives and dies with economies like the US, EU and Chinese.

And Stockholm is really beautiful during the summer, too bad it's over.

Well said. There's a lot of fans complaining these days who really haven't a clue about what a bad franchise REALLY looks like. :rocker:

How true... A bad franchise looks very much like Jacksonville.

I also think we drink the most coffee per capita too.

See, I can state irrelevant facts too.
I have to ask, was that "Skoal" an attempt at skål? Otherwise I just don't know what you mean.

I don't know what I meant either,Husse.....never try to get cutesey in a foreign language:bricks:....I think also that the Boston area, where I live drinks more coffee than any other major US city.....I have no idea, why

There is no "autumn" in Sweden(lol)......Do you know what country has the highest per capita suicide rate in the world?......and also has the highest socialist tax rate?......I'll help ya.....just point towards the ground......Skoal!,my friend:rocker:

Football please, not poltics. I don't give a damn what you think about any thing other than football on this site. Thanks in advance.

Yeah, it's nice. I used to make that too. Buy a packet of liquorice hard candy and mix it with vodka. Used the dishwasher and shaking to make the lumps disappear. Came out way better than premade flavored stuff.

That basically what I did. Bought the hard stuff, put it into a plastic bag and crushed it with a rolling pin. Used a funnel to transfer to the vodka, then put it in the freezer for a couple weeks. Shake and pour.

Allen's Coffee Brandy too. Liquid crack for the New England poor.

Well, it was a good try. I imagine writing with å, ä and ö is rather difficult with US keyboard-layout. And it wasn't half bad either, I think the writing of å is actually oa or ao in english as the pronunciation is somewhat similar.

It's the equivalent of 'cheers'. It's what Swedish people say when they drink. I had a friend from Sweden. They're good people.

All the kidding aside, about signing Gronk2....There is something very endearing about "Our Cold,Bloodless,Mr Belichick"

The way he tries to help former players, like Corwin Brown....His loyalty towards Rodney and Junior....His signing of the two Navy guys after completing reserve duty, sticking with Tedy after his stroke.Putting two loving brothers on the same team and nurturing Jackie Slater's son.

Putting his personal life stuff,aside....The guy just seems to have a real sense for what a "football family" is all about.

These may seem to be small things;and there may be many more....I just wanted to convey that I am damn proud of "Our Mr. Belichick".:eat2:

Agree completely!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nooo, you don't say?

Drink your girly man swill. We manly man Scots will stick with single malt.

I love single malt, but it takes a man to admit he likes the girly man swill.

OK, folks, how 'bout we get back on topic?

Obviously you haven't had any Salmiakki. It's a salty black licorice. The type I use also has hot pepper used in making it. Makes some good tasting shots in the cold depths of winter which, in New England and Sweden, is most of the year.

But my personal drink of choice is Bourbon. Neat.

And boy howdy, do I love our Mr. Belichick! That man is wicked smaht and as stoic as a stone and stump fence.

Back on topic, alkys:
