Good luck to the guy. As one of the previous posters said, he really wanted to go home. I'm happy for him that he got his wish.
I'm sad for us, and consequently neutral for him. No way to blame the guy. He picked the city he wanted to live and work in, a good work situation, and the most money vs. the city and work situation he was presumably pretty happy in and lesser but surely still good money.
That's his choice, and it sux to lose him, but that's what the salary cap does. We also lost Branch (who was just as valuable) and McGinest (who brought even more in the way of personality and played pretty well too), neither of whom would have been gone if money weren't an issue.
