OT: What makes Denver stronger, sucks

Good luck to the guy. As one of the previous posters said, he really wanted to go home. I'm happy for him that he got his wish.

I'm sad for us, and consequently neutral for him. No way to blame the guy. He picked the city he wanted to live and work in, a good work situation, and the most money vs. the city and work situation he was presumably pretty happy in and lesser but surely still good money.

That's his choice, and it sux to lose him, but that's what the salary cap does. We also lost Branch (who was just as valuable) and McGinest (who brought even more in the way of personality and played pretty well too), neither of whom would have been gone if money weren't an issue.

A lot remains to be seen in this acquisition and whether or not paying him this much will result in big numbers. He along with many others excelled in this system, remains to be seen what he will do there. Liked him here and wish him nothing but well there.. but there are injury concerns about him and his shoulders, even if he is not called on to block as much, he will still be called on to block so that remains to be seen.

Quit trying to act objective, everyone. He washed up. He was never any good in the passing game. Remember the wide-open fourth down catch at the end of the game against the Redskins a few years ago? He led the league in drops that year for a TE despite not being a regular target and missing time.

We all know he's a great blocker, but you don't shell out that kind of contract for a blocking TE.

There. He's safely under the bus where former players should be.
(restoring order to the universe)

I think Graham was a bit overrated in terms of Denver getting a blockbuster player.

Dan was,is and will always be just another Offensive Lineman and little to do with how the team does offensively in the passing game as a receiver and as far as players scoring contributions are concerned.

I would not be shocked to see Kyle Brady's 1st year here as improvement to what the TE does in terms of catching yardage,Plus he is a better blocker than Graham was anyways.

Great player, leader...sad to see him go. But he isn't worth that price-tag, at least not for us.

I'm a big Graham fan. I was really hopeful that we'd be able tot keep him, as I think resigning him needed to be a priority. However, considering what he wanted along with us getting Stallworth, Welker and Moss, I'm pretty happy right now. Let's just hope they all remain healthy and can get with the offense.
