I asked this on our board and nobody answered me..
Why couldn't the Redskins advance that kickoff they recovered? It was just like a long onside kick, I have seen onside kicks recovered before and ran back for touchdowns, why was this any different? Anybody know?

Thanks, I just realized I seen a return team recover an onside kick before and run it in for a touchdown it wasn't the receiving team...my bad..

EDIT Nevermind I had a brain fart, I have seen the return team recover an onside kick before and go for the TD..
The kicking team can not advance an Onside Kick. You have never seen an Onside Kick returned for a TD by the kicking team, unless it was fumbled first.
