OT: Texans switching to artificial turf

Looks like even the Texans were forced to admit how atrocious their field is. They announced today they will be switching ASAP to artificial turf "for the rest of the season".

still a lot that use grass though. Arizona and Tampa have the best sod by far though.

Clowney's last year. I think once they started losing their own players, then it got addressed

Arizona will be the only indoor stadium to have natural grass. Their system is very good!

I remember when Kraft had to address the field in mid-season. It was made out to be a big deal at the time. So, do the Texans have a three game road trip that they have the time to change the surface?

I'd wager they don't need as much time with that rolling field thing they use. I could be wrong though.

If there were quality standards then yes. But the crap that was put into Reliant stadium doesnt deserve to be called grass.

Happy that we won't have to deal with that **** later this year.
