It is there, on his upper left arm, that the Ohio State senior cornerback was branded with two large, overlapping Greek letters -- two Omegas, which stand for Omega Psi Phi, a predominantly African-American fraternity. Jenkins is the chaplain of the OSU chapter.
The letters were created by bending a coat hanger into the proper shape, heating it, and then applying it to Jenkins' skin. "It hurt, but not too much," he said.
That he was willing to undergo the branding is a testament to how much the fraternity means to him.
