He posted a lengthy IG caption with a sense of finality. You guys think he's gone? Mods please merge as you see fit or move the thread if you wish

Reads more like pre-retirement reflections than ‚changing teams‘ prelude. But wAR who knows? ….. more importantly, who cares?

Social media posts shouldn’t be news…..

I know…ok..get off my lawn, kids!
What’s worse than social media posts making news is when somebody merely unfollowing someone else (or a team) makes news.

It honestly makes me feel like we are all in junior high again.

Aaron needs to have some publicity, and even something as stupid as this will do..

Meanwhile Shailene Woodley says good bye..

Like him or (more likely) hate him, Rodgers going somewhere else could cause a big domino effect on QB's throughout the league.

GB can decide whether to finally trade him, presumably to Denver, although there are other possibilities in PITT and NO (or even TB). The fact that a patriot fan board doesn't like Rodgers doesn't make him any less valuable. I suspect that some team will want a 2-3 run with Rodgers. No, he won't be as successful as Brady. I don't see that as relevant. Personally, I suspect that the time has come for GB and Rodgers to part company.

I think he's in a manner of speaking, saying goodbye to his fiance who broke up with him, and expressing gratitude for their time together. Probably disguising his grief in all this artifical sweetener.

Green Bay is currently $53M over the cap. It is time to dump $25M or so and trade Rodgers.

I understand the cap a bit. I truly don't see a reasonable way out for GB, or NO for that matter.
