I feel like overall the quality is a bit lower than usual. I mean, I always feel that when the Patriots aren't on, but in general the league seems to be shaking off some rust. Good to see football back though, even if it did mean spending a beautiful Sunday afternoon inside.

I don't know if it's true, but with the lack of normal offseason activity due to the lockout,I think the teams that are blowing the others out,especially on the road were the teams that spent more time preparing for football despite the lockout.....and it shows.

I don't know if you can use one games a barometer especially with Cassel injured bad enough that it was doubtful at one point this week that he would play. I think they are an overrated team, but I think Indy is one of the worst teams in the NFL.

I'll be very curious to see how/if Indy bounces back next week. They just seemed like such a stunned team today. Not that that should be excused. Let's see if they manage to summon some pride next week.
