It’s definitely a legit point. The 49ers were no easy out either.

The fact is they lost in the divisional round...they really had no business being in that game based on the way they were badly outplayed. The Rams absolutely choked and almost gave the game away. Four lost fumbles, missed field goal, etc. It sucks to lose the game, but the worst losses are the self-inflicted mistakes.

IMO, the two teams with the best defensive chance of taking advantage of the Wirfs injury were both NFC teams (Rams, 49ers). Neither the Bills nor the Chiefs would likely have been able to take advantage.

I was watching with my wife and I told her the second I saw they had all 3 timeouts that they would go to kelce in the middle and convert twice to give the kicker a chance. I think everyone here was thinking the same thing. I don't know what they were doing but some major defensive blunders today by a few teams in the most important moments. Kelce WIDE OPEN to the 30.
