OT: Official 2021 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

I do not know if the Rams as constituted can currently play man. Talib is long gone as that second corner they had three years ago and their safeties are so hurt they just brought back a guy who was two years retired.

They don't have the DBs other than Ramsey to play man. The secondary is definitely the weak link of that defense. Kyler missed a lot of reads on Monday that Brady won't. Of course the main issue here is if the OL can hold up

The more i see everyone picking the Rams this Sunday around the league, the more I am confident about this game.

This is what Brady thinks of coaches looking for jobs during the playoffs

"This isn’t the time of year for the, you know, trips to the movie theaters. This is a time to lock in on football,” Brady said. “All we have is three days left and we got to earn more. So just look at it like that, everything that you can put off until the end of the year.”

I agree 100%. I've always wondered why playoff teams allow their coaches to go off galavanting on interviews.

Kyler likely literally couldn’t see the reads.

Byron Leftwich when asked if he would be surprised if Tom Brady retired after this season. "Tom is playing at a high level. I will leave it at that.''

Good news perhaps. RB Leonard Fournette is practicing. RB Ronald Jones is out of the boot and was doing some work with the strength coach. CB Sean Murphy-Bunting worked with Roger Kingdom. T Josh Wells is practicing. WR Breshad Perriman (abdominal)

C Ryan Jensen is practicing. T Tristan Wirfs is NOT. WR Cyril Grayson has a helmet and was also with Kingdom. Tom Brady looks to be taking a vet day.

I saw that Interception he threw from his own end zone. He had no situational awareness and was horrible.

He could have threw it right after the snap as he rolled to his right.

Someone was after him to his left and he incredulously tucks it in as if to run but the Cardinal player was already there.

Instead of taking the sack and giving up 2 points, he just tosses it in the air for an easy pick 6. That toss doesn't even qualify as a throw.

He's not very bright imo and will be a backup after his rookie contract.

This has always been the main thing to me and what Brady has emphasize the most. As long as he feels he's playing at a high level, he wants to keep playing. These last two seasons one could argue have been the best back to back of his career and here he is with the chance to repeat as well. This talk of retirement seems to be out of the blue or something to just drive clicks for the playoffs.

It will ultimately come down to the Bucs D. I think Brady will be able to out at least 24 points..can the Bucs D hold them to 21? McVay has owned Bowles

What’s the sample size of McVay vs Bowles?

Bowles just need to not blitz and they will be fine. Davis will erase OBJ.

I'd like to see them mix in something similar to what they did against the Chiefs. They won't be able to do it all game like they did in the Superbowl because the Rams will run the ball, but it can bait Stafford to mistakes

Everyone on the media is salivating all over the Rams. I have the same feeling I had against the saints last year in the playoffs.

I wonder with possibly 2 pro bowl Oline players out or hobbled if the game plan will be to take continuous deep shots and maybe try to make stupid throws while falling backwards. After the game maybe Brady can be proclaimed a god and all the blame can be put on the offensive line. That might be how it will go down... or....

It's hard to predict what the Bucs will do.

Most of the time, they have more talent than the other team and they have the attitude of "we do what we do and we will just beat you with our talent."

Even now after all the injuries, I think they still have similar overall talent to the Rams and can still win by doing what they do ie. Bowles blitzing over and over.

It's very different watching this team from watching the playoffs with the Patriots, where the talent level was usually similar and at times glaringly inferior to the opponent. But Patriots were so good with situational football and at being efficient that they still won against more talented teams. To be fair to the Bucs, they have been much better at this lately.
