Thinking the best scenario for Tampa Bay is getting the #4 seed, letting everyone write them off, and going to Lambeau in round 2 after the Packers have been crapping their pants for two weeks at the thought of having to play them. That way they avoid the Saints in round 1 and avoid the Rams in round 2, probably their two worst matchups.

if Barrett, David, Fournette can all come back near full strength and they can avoid the Saints and Rams (at least until CCG) that would be the best possible outcome

Even though they aren't 100%, playing against the 30th ranked passing defense is the perfect opportunity to achieve their goals. Oh, and Jets probably want to tank to get the highest possible draft pick again.

It's a crapshot who their opponent will be 1st round. #2 is best to get that home field advantage in the 2nd round. Also, GB might choke again, so the #2 seed could very well have home field again in the conference championship.

If this is why he’s playing, they should just pay him for his incentives within reach and rest him for the playoffs. Risk a $200M payroll for a 250K incentive? Playing with fire. His knees/ankles have had ongoing wear and tear problems for over a year now.
