Mahomes has not been a top 10 QB this year at all.

I think the Washington football team has overtaken the 49ers for the 6th seed. They actually have a pretty good chance of taking the division from Dallas because they play Dallas twice. Their defense appears to be playing as good as it was last year especially against the pass.

I think SF is still #6 due to a slightly better conference record and I agree that Wash can still overtake Dallas.

Looking at the rankings of the teams in the NFC, these are the totals for each NFC team's 5 opponents;
GB-107, TB-94, SF-86, Ariz-79, Was-79, Dallas-78 and Rams-73.

In the AFC it's Tenn-124, Buf-83, NE-71 (only 4 games), KC-59, Indy-55 (also only 4 games), Cin-53, Pitt-41 and Balt-36 (that's the toughest by far in either league).

As usual I'll be pulling against the Ratbirds and Indiots.

For me the biggest violation was 2003. Should have given Priest Holmes the MVP. Dude had almost 30 rushing TDs, was the best player on one of the best offenses in the league, and the Chiefs won 13 games.

That Saints loss just looms so incredibly large. Brady had the ball 1:40 and a timeout and just needed a field goal to win. Increasingly likely the difference between the 1 or 3 seed. Which means if chalk wins out the Bucs go into Green Bay in the divisional round.
