It depends if you have to believe Bill is omniscient and set your dignity ablaze in an attempt to prove that no decision Bill has ever made has ever been questionable. If that's what it means to be a Pats fan, then yes. However, I don't think most Pats fans are really like that. There's a faction of them known as Team Bill, whose loyalty oath to Bill supersedes any fandom to the actual team. This has been going on since well before Brady departed.

Just about anyone I work with who are serious Pat's fans are pretty neutral on the issue and see it as a divorce.

I believe there is a rule about going after mods. Which I'm fine with.

We have proven that we need some level of moderation and, if you agree, also means we have to have rules to protect them. There's just too many opinions from all angles.

Some of us have thicker skin than others while some of us might have issues who are in need of some kind of social interaction at some level and come here to get it.

Some of us are just here to stir the pot. Trolls. Some are just antagonists that "Rob Parker" the forum.

Some of us are media asshats trying to get their next clickbait hawt take tested out.

Some are UVA dropouts that couldn't pass the third grade in Massachusetts.

Some are Rusty.

The mods have an extremely tough job filtering through all of them. They need some level of discretion. Ian gives it to them. I'm glad he does.

I don't agree with Deus being banned but understand why he was. But then again I'll reach out to the mods and express my view.

Ashley is definitely one of our better moderators. Deus is one of our best posters. It's the Pats fans own BB/TB situation. Haha

Andy is an interesting guy. Great football poster but gets extremely obsessed when in arguments. He definitely adds football value but is a huge negative in many other ways imo.

However, when the mods get involved in the thick of the argument in the thread, imo they cease to be mods and become like the rest of the peons. You shouldn't be able to get into a discussion and then pull out the "I'm a mod" card to trump the conversation. Frankly, Mac 10 should've been banned just for instigating and throwing fuel into a fire that was never lit.

Bottom line I personally think that this forum is pretty well moderated. Is every moderator decision correct? No. That's impossible.

Yeah, the partnership wasn't working anymore. You started to see the smoke when JG was drafted. I could already see that it was over by the beginning of the 2019 season. It was time to move on for the good of both sides.
