Absolutely ridiculous that any Pats fan would be critical of either one.
Both undisputed GOATs.
Both , TOGETHER, gave us the greatest, most dominant run in nfl history, probably in all of sports.
So many childish posters on this, the GOAT of nfl forums. Im totally not interested in which one contributed more, I mean who gives a ****? Y'all sound like a bunch of middle-school girls.
Real football fans from all around the country just laugh at you. Youre as pathetic as Jete fans.

Forgive them for they know not what they do.

I never thought that I'd see another Bill/Red in my lifetime, but once in a lifetime became twice a half century later thanks to the B&B show.

Hopefully the Saints game was an anomaly. If they look the same against the Panthers then Tom should have retired.

Brady having more problems in TB:

That's funny, but it shows that there is still a belief out there that the Pats taped opponents' practices. Thanks, Tomase and ESPN.

So you're saying there is such a thing as a "real ..."?

yes........the "real" ones are the ones who actually fulfilled their promise to leave with Brady.........in other words, they don't exist

we homers can not be considered "real" fans..........because we're homers

but then again, the last time a "real" homer had anything to cheer about was Doug Flutie

I thought the take from most posters was that the supposed gripe brady had with Bill was him calling brady out in meetings and not giving him any praise? And now the new idiot coach is not just calling out brady in private but in public in front of the media (something bill wouldnt do). And on top of that he did a complete 180 the following day.

the downfall of this team ultimately is going to be the idiot coach and his undisciplined style....it might make for more fun for brady/gronk than bills ultra strict environment. But 100 yards of penalties? thats not a recipe for success.

I was struck by how undisciplined that team was. The botched kickoff return, dumb penalties...a freaking clown-show.

The book on Brady has always been "if you can get to him, you can throw his game off."

Then you read inaccurate books. Advanced stats throughout his career showed Brady handles pressure as well as any QB and has the best record in football when sacked 4+/5+ times. Every QB‘s performance level will drop with pressure.

Brady has struggled mostly against great defenses which, as part of their success, have had great pass rushes. When faced with great pass rushes and middling or bad secondaries, he shreds them.

Brady has struggled more with pressure the last year but also without pressure.

He didn't get to the real reason he threw the two picks: The ghost of Jameis Winston haunts the team facilities.

LOL, Brady was seeing ghost pressure in the SB against the Giants because they got in his head.

“They(the Giants) can force the quarterback into some bad decisions and some bad throws,” Brady said. “We had too many of those the last time we played them.”

It happened three seconds after the snap, on the first play of the third quarter in the Giants' game against the New England Patriots in Foxborough, Mass., 12 weeks ago Sunday.

Tom Brady flinched. For no apparent reason.

Linval Joseph was the closest to Brady — 2 yards away and leaping into the air — but he was stoned by New England center Dan Connolly.

Jason Pierre-Paul, who had earlier recorded his fifth sack in four games, was shielded from Brady by both tackle Sebastian Vollmer and guard Brian Waters. Chris Canty was occupied by three blockers. Osi Umenyiora had issues when he tried to loop around those four. And Mathias Kiwanuka, who had caused Brady to yell out, “Ninety-four’s the ‘Mike,’ ” when he leaned over the center, had long since dropped into coverage. Maybe Brady could’ve pump-faked or patted the ball one more time. Those would’ve been natural reactions.

But when Brady scrunched his shoulders and ducked his head like a friend had just popped out from behind a door to prank scare him, the Giants’ mysterious pass-rusher had generated another hurry.

But in the moment when Brady’s arms and torso muscles contracted, the Giants knew they were in his head — just like they’d been four years prior in their Super Bowl XLII upset of the then-perfect Patriots.

Last week, Pierre-Paul mentioned publicly Brady "reacted to pressure that wasn't there," and used that as evidence he's "not God."

Oh wow...on one play in one game, Brady thought he should get rid of the ball before he should. What a rebuttal.

It is funny, I certainly appreciate all Brady did while playing for the Patriots, but only a pink hat fan is still going to root for him when he goes to another team. You can go watch Ted 2 and hope to catch a glimpse of his manhood, which glows, by the way, if you would like.

Brady used to do that to great effect. He used to duck out of the way when defenders ran up behind him, and people would be like, "How in the world did he know they were coming?" When you see him ducking for ghosts, you understand that he heard something those times and was guessing. I'd rather him "see ghosts" or whatever than take those hits from behind. Bruschi made the same points in a segment with Ryan Clark on ESPN. It was deliberate.

There's a reason Brady has so few turnovers over his career, and it's precisely because of those moves in the pocket.

You quote the Giants Super Bowl game and then neglect to mention how Michael Strahan was in awe because he said Brady stood in there taking hard hit after hard hit like no QB he's ever seen before. Strahan has commented many times on how he learned about Brady's toughness that game.

A few years ago we used to post that pro football stats study that showed the 3 QBs in the league who were hit more than anyone and received the fewest calls were Peyton Manning at #3, Tom Brady at #2 and Ben Roethlisberger who far outpaced everyone at #1. These 3 guys took hit after hit and stood in there. I'd say these 3 were the least affected by pressure of any contemporary QBs I've seen, and in the past you can be dumb like Joe Kapp and Steve Grogan and stand back there without flinching, taking hit after hit, but it doesn't help your team to turn the ball over and make bad throws just because you look foolish when avoiding a defender who isn't there.

Proud pink hat fan here.

Also went to games during the Erhardt, Rust and McPherson years. Happy to know you were sitting in the stands there with me during those seasons.

Also never missed a game in 45 years.

Send me any extra pink hats, would love to wear one, especially coming from a real fan like you.

When you get older the mind starts slipping. ;-)

Remember when Brady arrogantly and publicly scoffed at the idea that the Patriots would only score 17 in the Super Bowl on the Giants... and then his team scored 14. Yikes.

Pressure from the edge yes he handled it well. Up the middle not so much.
