And the Kraft family thinks the POS is doing a good job.

Perhaps someone should ask him what he thinks about the Chargers getting caught red-handed wiping sticky stuff on the balls and withholding the towel for a while. You know, the thing they were fined 10K for that was later dropped when they appealed.

"Somebody got to somebody and took a couple pounds out of the balls," Pereria said. "Would the officials notice? No."

This was based on the long-ago-retracted Mortenson tweet. 0.4 psi is not a "couple of pounds", so I'll cut him some slack here.

I don't see how that makes much difference. Even if the Pats were caught red-handed, they should have gotten the same treatment that San Diego got.

Why doesn't the NFLPA force the players to strike against this tyrannical bully? Are they in the pocket too? Fans will strike against replacement players, and the Union should be able to support its players through a lockout. If it means that much to them (the players) then start a go fund me page for the ones that can't get by on the minimum of $250.000 per year.

It will mean so much more to this team if we win the Super Bowl!

I can't wait until the Sheldon Richardson suspension starts!

How's the Revi$$$ tampering fine coming along? Nincovich? Patriot?: 4 games

Woody?: Pay for my lunch, now your in the Goodell Mafia. Go JESTS!

Continuing to be ****ed by one entity is a poor showing of that entities structural ability. The fact that the Pats are the ones continually being fuct means that our guy cares more about his lunch than he does about who's feeding his dog.

Nice guy that Goodell.

"Goodell persisted, but I refused to give in. What happened next was anything but good. The conversation escalated, and when he was down in front of my office, with others present, he was so frustrated and, I’m sure, getting so much heat from Cleveland that he gave me a hard shove into my door to try and continue the argument about McAulay in my office. Quite frankly, it startled me, and I think it startled him a little because the discussion ended shortly after that."

What should have been, . . around the time of the first time owners voting when they were deadlocked between gotohell and krafts guy ( neither with 24 votes), Periera should have done the national TV route of j'accuse and publicized this physical assault. His candidacy could have been rightfully tubed.

Just Imagine all those 1-rnd picks back in the fold. Sigh.

Timing is everything Now everyone just says, yeah that fits, shakes their head and walk away from the train wreck that is the NYJFL.

The article ended abruptly, but for those who were wondering, Pereira got his way in the end. Hochuli refereed the Baltimore win over Miami in the wild card round that year.

The article was just an excerpt from Pereira's book..

I don't see how Goodell wasn't fired for that incident. How can you physically assault someone and get PROMOTED? That's not something that can be tolerated in any workplace.

What was wrong is that he was going by the information released by ESPN at the time. Which we all know now was fictitious. You can't blame him for that. A lot of people were questioning the 2 lbs gone from each ball claim.. Both in its truthfulness and in how it happened.. Remember that it took 3 months to find out that only ONE ball had deflated close to 2 lbs and all the others were significantly less and well within the range accounted for by the Ideal Gas Law.

Don't forget punished Big Ben without definite evidence (not going to go into whether he did it or not, we don't have enough to punish him).

The only reason there wasn't "definitive evidence" about Big Ben raping that woman is because the cops on the scene botched the investigation. And that is because Big Ben's bodyguard was an off-duty / retired (?) Pennsylvania State Trooper. The DA couldn't press charges because they responding officers had done things like get their pictures taken with Ben, not controlled the scene, etc..

And just what treatment did Pereira give San Diego when they were caught?

It's very disconcerting to me, but it appears that the NFL is not "any workplace". It is completely corrupt. It reminds me of some of the (fictional) characters in books I've read- assault, fraud, dishonesty, blackmail, framing people -all swept under the rug if the one committing these deeds has friends in high places, or is seen as someone the NFL machine can manipulate and use. Utterly sickening.

But true.

I agree but, it's a slippery slope charging guys for things they weren't criminally charged for. I think he did it for the record.

"accidental?"

"Yes, judge, I, Joe Kerr plead guilty. It was no accident. I smashed his head in. I want to plead temporary insanity...."

"Case dismissed ,Mr Kerr! That cretin drove all of us temporarily insane...
