OT: Dead Body Found in Port-a-Potty at Ravens Stadium

I haven’t seen it. Do they explain why drug dealers are on the metric system?

That is weird...isn't it? Wonder if it's because most of this comes from South/Central America?

Sad. I don't usually do this here on PatsFans, but for just this moment I'm going to open up to you all and share my greatest fear.

I fear nothing more than dying sitting on a toilet with my pants at my ankles. I cannot think of a more unflattering way to die. Just sitting there like a dope with my exposed thighs and (likely) flacid pen-WOAH-THERE'S-KIDS-ON-HERE-MAN on display for the world to see. I cannot think of a worse way to bite the dust. Having that happen in a port-o-potty would be so much worse.

This is actually fake news. I had just used that Port-O-Potty after a whiskey night the night before. It only smelled like a dead body in there.

Given that it's Baltimore, they should celebrate that only a single dead body was found. That seems like an improvement for that city.

Time for another check in on Andy?

Will the Ravens lose a first round draft pick over this?

what a way to go

Actually it was two.

Quoth the Raven, “Nevermore.”

They can’t put the bodies in a vacant anymore they have to go somewhere.
Perhaps the worst of it? The game was on Thursday and they didn't find the guy until Sunday. How does that happen? You go to the game with your buddies and one of them doesn't come home with you or show up for 4 days? Again, ugh...

Has this person been identified as a fan who actually attended the game? The port-a-potties were in the parking lot so I wonder if it was just some junkie off the street.

it's likely because scientific instruments such as balances for weighing things have been solely in metric for at least 50 years. I have never seen one that even has a mode for pounds/ounces. You can get them for the kitchen though

Theyve had cheap scales in standard for a while now...

Dealers like metric because they slant the conversion to 28grams/ounce. Makes easy math even for junkies. They get some "extra" product on the short conversion. Bulk comes in kilos. Metric system is far more efficient than standard, and its so obvious drug dealers can figure it out, but our politicians hold strong. Scientists rarely bother with standard measurements because its such a mess (as im sure your aware). Everything is factors of 10 with metric, and a gram actually has real world value for its basis (1 cubic centimeter of water weighs one gram).

Metric is much more accurate, and much simpler to swap between cm and kilometers, than say inches and miles. Quick, someone get me the inches in a mile! Theres 100,000 cm in a kilometer. Took me longer to type it than crunch the mental math of 100cm/m x 1000m/km...
