OT Davante Adams Wants Out

Buffalos cap situation is crap, they can still prob pull it off tho but will see.

I think it’ll be between NYJ, NO, or Baltimore. Don’t think the Raiders trade him within the division to KC.

I know it seems logical that the Raiders would never trade Adams to the division rival the Chiefs but never say never. What if the Chiefs gave them the best deal? Now everything I’ve read has stated the Chiefs don’t have the money.
Did any of us think that Bill would trades Bledsoe inside the division?

Nobody is paying him $36.25M for the 2025 season in which he turns 33 years old. It’s basically the Aiyuk situation, where he gets to force where he goes (or more importantly doesn’t go) by just refusing to renegotiate.
To be honest, the Patriots might pay that. In fact, they may be the only ones willing to pay that. They might be able to swing the deal by telling Adams that they will not only pay it, but convert it into a signing bonus when he gets here so it's guaranteed (while spreading it across the next few years, and still being able to cut him in 2026 if necessary). It'd raise his hit this year but still be manageable since they have the room, and lower his hit next year. Then in 2026 if they cut him, it's in the neighborhood of $10M of dead money. If he's worth keeping then they either have a ~$45M cap hit or they extend him.

He’s not going to end up here, no way he plays out the best remaining years of his career for a rebuilding franchise.

Why? To have another WR that doesn't get thrown to?

No chance in H - E - double toothpicks.

Buffalo needs him the most imo. I don't think they have a legit #1 receiver.

Unlike KC, they don't have good enough coaching to offset a lack of weapons.
LOL!! If you think it is the "coaching" that offsets KC's lack of weapons, you are clueless.

The one constant beyond coaching is their offensive line.

And before you say "Mahomes," he looked like crap in the past when his offensive line was hurt.

Football is won in the trenches, if the Patriots had good blocking their QB and weapons would be decent.

It's a team game. Reid, Mahomes and offensive line will keep them winning... it's all three.

This ^

He won't agree to a trade here, and you're sniffing glue if you think he would.

True... while Brissett is starting.

Obviously the same would have been true if they had landed Aiyuk, or signed Ridley. The acquisition would not be for the QB who is only starting a few more weeks - it's for the other guy who will hopefully be starting for many years to come.

Moss deal - #4 pick take it or leave and hope they leave it!

He's headed to KC. 3-peat guaranteed.
Would Davis trade in the division however??

This is the very last thing we need, some declining narcissist blowhard whose career will be over by the time we have any actual use for him.

Ross boy you got me there. Adams is a Prima Donna I am sure he's aware of our abysmal situation on Offense even he couldn't fix it.

Atlanta should be in on Adams. Him and Cousins would be a nice duo with London and the others Adams could easily put them over the top.

Patrick Mahomes is the best active player in the NFL at the most important position in all of sports. If every team was told "you can have Patrick Mahomes or you can have KC's offensive line" all 32 of them would choose Mahomes. Period.

Anyone who doesn't see the value he brings is a complete moron.
Football is won in the trenches,
This isn't 1971. The days of "run the ball, stop the run" are looooooooooooooooooooooooooooong gone. You need to join us in the 21st century, my phenomenally ignorant friend.

i would easily make this deal.

Adams as your go to guy helps a young qb like may to evelate his game to the next level like Diggs did for allen
Now that Allen has plenty of experience he looks very good despite only have a bunch of Number 2/3 guys.
