Apparently both Rodgers and Davante Adams have expressed that Rodgers next TD pass will be his 500th and he's purposely targeting Adams.
Would you prefer he get the 500th Sunday and retire (and just go away) or have to come back next year?

There are two people in the world that care about Aaron Rodgers getting his 500th TD pass, and they were both mentioned in your post.

I don't care what he does or doesn't do. If he comes back, he will suck again next year, as he is completely washed up.

Come back, purely for one more year of his lunacy, with a side helping of Lily posts.

Tough call.

As much as I can't stand Rodgers, and would be more than content to never read his name or hear his voice again, I wouldn't mind the Jets retaining him as doing so would just prolong their agony and sub-mediocrity.

Yes. He's an albatross around their neck and I'd just as soon keep him right there.

Let him do get it AND come back. The record will make his head swell even more and it will make him think he’s elite (he’s not, ball washers love him though). Then he can come back and be terrible again.

I can’t watch any of the YT vids of him talking at retreats or wtf ever he is at in them. Lily is another story.

They will bring him back since it’s the idiotic thing to do. Full confidence in them fcking things up longer than they should be. What’s sad is I think Zach Wilson would’ve done the same as AR…

I'd prefer the asteroid, bird flu, or nuclear war.

He looks cooked. Some people are fooled by a play or two from him, but he's looked awful overall.

That team is going to get blown up like the Ramsey Jaguars days in time.

A competent GM would try to pry Wilson away from the Jets this off-season. Shame we have Wolf.
I would rather have Wilson than Wiggins. Wilson and Hunter with Maye. OH Boy.

I hope he doesn’t get it and has to retire because no one wants him

Yeah, I'm sure they're gonna give him cheap to a team in the division. . . .

I hope he gets it so he won't come back next year. For all i don't like him much personally, you can't deny he is solidly a HOF QB and you don't like to see guys like that brought low. If he gets it i think he retires and admits he doesn't have it anymore. If he doesn't get it he likely comes back for another year, as he is a guy who has never made a secret of being concerned about his stats.

And to be fair i think many NFL players are concerned about their stats more than they say, and not just for the sake of their next contract. The issue is how obvious Rodgers is about it and how he lets it affect his play and influence games. Which makes it more unsightly. So a part of me hopes he doesn't get it so he does come back next year to get it and takes another bad year knocking his % numbers down.
