Stealing the Colts from Baltimore in the middle of the night wasn't bad enough.

It's like going to a funeral of someone you don't know and handing out business cards.

Then again, this is the same franchise that unveiled a participation banner, had a GM screaming for his team to break an opponent's leg, lost on purpose in order to improve their draft position, and attempted to frame another NFL team.


The decision making within that organization is mind boggling - though considering who the owner is, this latest incident is actually not surprising in the least.

I am writing this to you to warn you that things are not well here in what used to be (quite frankly I'm afraid it may never have been) the great State of Indiana. My dear beloved husband, Gen. Luck is a shell of himself mentally and physically since the last campaign ended. He was almost back, but the tragic news of Gen Pagano and Maj. Grigson staying in command positions sunk him back into his desperate feline loving depths.

In short, I plead with you to go West. Do not come here for you will end up like Gen Luck and myself. War weary, despondent and in an overall state wide depression. I have heard that President Irsay may have some...remedies.....for such situations although I find him to be a horrible, disgusting man. The chances of success in any campaign is slim to none.

Please, I pray you heed my warning. Save yourself from the trauma that will befall you if you come here.

I think Marshall Faulk's head would implode if the St. Louis fans started following us. Which is not necessarily a bad thing.

It does make you wonder how things might have turned out differently had that Rams dynasty been born that night back in 2002. Warner would play terribly to start the next season, get hurt, then eventually benched a year later. The Rams would have one more winning season after that before 11 years of sucking, while Warner would eventually reclaim his swagger in the desert in Arizona.

The Rams complained non-stop about the lack of local support, but they certainly didn't give the fans much to bother showing up for. Turn out a ****ty product, then complain when nobody wants to pay a ton of money to watch it, then move.
