It's easy, and only takes a few moments.I've been saying all offseason that the Chiefs are going to surprise people. Football Outsiders projecting them as a playoff team just strengthened my resolve in the prediction. They have real talent at all of the positions where you need it..
Wild Card, #6 seed sounds about right for them.

With that wind and rain I doubt a 48 yard kick is possible.
Vrabel was traded shortly before he would have been due a multimillion-dollar roster bonus. The Patriots weren't going to pay him that money, and would have cut him if they hadn't traded him. It was never about him vs. Ninkovich or Woods or anyone else- it was about his salary vs. re-signing Wilfork, Brady, Mankins, Gost, and, as it turned out, Bodden. Vrabel's one of my all-time favorite Pats, but it was the right move
I'm sorry, I'm not convinced. Think of all the money and picks we wasted trying to fill that position since he left, Burgess especially. I can understand trying to get better because Vrabel was losing it (he was). I assume the plan was to be better than Ninkovich at that position.
In hindsight, a bad move--both production wise, leadership, and also resources expended (draft picks on Burgess).
At the time, I admit I didn't like it because I didn't think Vrabel was totally done, but I understood the Pats were trying to get better at that position.
