OT: Celtics / Sixers - Series

I look at this 5... Irving, Hayward, Brown, Horford, Tatum. I really like it. It is as good a 5 as the Celtics have had in a long time as far as even your 5th guy having legit star talent.

It still may not be good enough to beat the GSWs but they can give them a run. I never thought Tatum would be so good so far. He may be one of the top 20 players in the NBA next year.

I believe, with luck, the Celtics can win this series in seven. Lebron's supporting cast is not good. The Celtics are a younger, more talented and better coached team than the Cavs.

But it's difficult to bet against Lebron. Similar to betting against Tom Brady. Good thing we have home court.

I can easily see the series being a sweep for the Cavs if we decide to bend the knee to King James rather than look at him as a talented basketball player who we can overcome with solid defense, team oriented offense, and winning the turnover battle.

As I thought throughout our playoff run last year, that specific Pats team was a mess and was lucky to make it to the Super Bowl. Too many mistakes and drama, yet the weakness of our East opponents let us stumble into the big game. The magic wasn't there compared to other years and I was stunned we were even playing for a title. Here's hoping we can refocus this season by getting back to disciplined football and staying out of the media. This offseason filled with whining doesn't necessarily support that outcome, but one can always hope.

Love this Celtic story....but the Cavaliers won't be coughing up games do to inexperience like Philly and the Bucks.
Love that Boston starts the series at home.
If the C's can get hot from the 3 pt line, get the crowd lit.....this could be fun.
Personally, I see this series as bonus ball

Celtics exceeded my expectations after Hayward and Irving were ruled out... pleased to see the younger guys getting this much floor time, even though Tatum and Brown are young in age and young in the NBA they are fearless on the court..

Brad has done a masterful job of keeping this team focused and ready to play..

Thought the NBA gods wanted this series to go at least six, but the officiating seemed fair and the clutchness of the Celtics ruled..
