Sure all things equal I would choose wentz. But taking on wentz full contract remaining I would’ve passed. He’s just not worth the contract Philly gave him.

Trubisky thinks he's a running back and Mariota already proved Gisele Bündchen wrong that a QB can't throw it and catch it because he did budding WR masquerading as a QB there.

If you do a search for Wentz on this board, you'll find me ripping him quite often. I flat out thinks he sucks. I'm not saying Trubisky is better. I am saying Trubisky won't cost you $25m plus 2 second day draft picks.

I think Trubisky could become a decent QB if he gets in the right system. He wasn't awful in Chicago. He is so-so. But we have seen that playing QB in Chicago is not the best place to develop a QB.

I still think that the Giants may sign him myself. It could be a done deal. I think if anyone can get good QB out of Trubisky, it is Brian Daboll.

I think Trubisky could become a decent QB if he gets in the right system. He wasn't awful in Chicago. He is so-so.

Awful is strong because there are worse QB's, but Trubisky will never be a decent QB.

Tannehill is so-so and he is much better than Trubisky.

Everyone loses here... Wentz, Indy and Washington.

Wentz finds himself on his third team in three seasons. Supposedly Reich was really high on Wentz, that he's given up on Wentz after just one season is a bad sign. Washington will surely be the end of Wentz.

Washington gave up too much for a quarterback who was brutal in '20 and who faded badly with a really good supporting cast in Indy. I'm not sure Wentz is even that much better than Heinicke.

The biggest loser here is Indy. They gave up their '22 1st round pick and a 3rd round pick from last year's draft for one forgettable season of Wentz. They're only getting back two 3rds for Wentz and they have to find their next new quarterback. Supposedly they're interested in acquiring Garoppolo with Trubisky as a possible fallback??... neither are good enough to put Indy over the top... Trubisky would be a comical move. You would hope Indy is eyeballing another bigger move, perhaps a trade for Carr (if in turn McDaniels is interested in a reunion with Garoppolo).
