OT: Brock Osweiler Agrees To 4yr $72M Deal With Texans

Brock was a key part of the Donks SB run. Without him they would not have clinched HFA. That being said the plan for the NYFL was to have Peyton sail off into the sunset with his ring.

and......he got benched for Manning because his teammates were dropping passes and fumbling the ball, not because of his poor play, glad he stuck it to them.

Does Elway have his sights set on a record breaking 6- 8 - 10 year offer to Andrew Luck next year?

Why break the bank on B.O. ... when you have your QB in plain sights by waiting a year.

I don't see any way in hell the Colts are letting Luck walk. The contract they give him to keep him in that ****hole will make the Earth stand still.

I'd want out too, the Broncos kind of disrespected him; it may or may not have been the Broncos best choice to bench him and go back to manning but why would he stay loyal to a team that benched him for a husk and then didn't offer him as much money as someone else?

This is a terrible deal and screws up the market badly, this is textbook definition of a Mediocre GM going nuts throwing money in the FA trying to desperately improve, I hope the Texans go 1-15

I don't. I want all the teams in the AFCS to make life miserable for the Colts.

He's a back up who certainly earned his ring.

If Osweiler had started all season and Manning only took the final kneel down in the superbowl, the media headlines all would've been "Manning wins world championship."

It was vomit worthy how they reacted to his return from injury... he was playing like dog **** and the announcers and media narratives were "the offense just seems to be inspired and rally around Manning, he just has this aura around him that makes everyone else raise their level of play"

Still don't understand how it all works, how they decide who'll be the golden child that they worship and who'll be the villain and get **** on non stop by the media and broadcasters

But it's been blatantly obvious that the media and nfl have had their noses all the way up Manning's *** for his entire career, no matter how poorly he would play.. they were his PR and excuse machine when he was choking and going 1 and done in the post season year after year. .. literally lost the SB to the Saints with one of the biggest choke jobs in SB history

don't suppose anyone else saw the thing on the broncos website that basically took a giant dump right on the face of manning on brock, calling their seasons "Sub-optimal, borderline replacement level quarterbacking"

Where was this? Trying to find it.

That's simple. That's whomever sucks up to the media the most and gives out the "sexy" press conferences and commercials. The one who provides the most playable soundbites for the 11:00 news or the 12AM edition of SportsCenter. The one who always calls media members by first name like a family reunion every time they interview, like "Hello, Peter, can't wait to read your MMQB this Monday!!" That's who. /rant
