Adam jones is a poor mans felger. but even he makes felger look like sunshine and rainbows. his whole show is doom and gloom over all boston sports.

either way, Mac Jones has shown more than Trey lance in the NFL. Theres a reason the niners are shopping him.

It's so ironic that the talking point has become that the guy who let himself get talked into taking Lance over Jpnes should now be allowed to swap Lance for Jones, after Lance has shown zero in the NFL while Jones at least has brought his team to a playoff game.

Kraft is supposedly upset about the lack of a playoff win. He's going from that to suddenly accepting of losing seasons? At some point Kraft has to put his words into action. If the team is 8-9 again or 7-10 with a last place finish in the division then Kraft is telling Belichick he needs to step down gracefully or he'll be removed.

Every season there's a scapegoat for Belichick... 2020 was Cam (and the resetting of the cap), 2021 was a rookie QB (and the rebuild), and 2022 was Patricia. Next season it will be Mac (and the resetting of the offense).

There comes a point where it has to be acknowledged that all of these scapegoats came about from Belichick's doing. Ultimately, HE will have to take the fall if the poor outcomes continue.

Agreed, the afternoon show on WEEI is trash with Lou and Christian gone.

I'm ok with trading Mac Jones but I'm not really interested in Trey Lance even he's likely to be better than Jones. The Patriots should have been in on Jackson, Rodgers, or Carr. They passed on all three so at this point it seems obvious the plan is Mac or Zappe.

My dream would have been Jackson.. however Trey is an unknown at this point.
Hurt last season and missed the remainder of it.. I'm sure had he had the benefit of a few games under him that cannon for an arm and his athletic ability would have won them some games.. especially with Shanahan pulling the strings.

Perfectly put... the more we loose and look mediocre the more validity there is the the post brady debate. Don't get me wrong BB absolutely the GOAT HC rightly so.. I've made mention Mac and BB both have something to prove this season!

Now Kraft is out there routinely throwing his HC/GM under the bus. Kraft stated in one of the Patriot books that BOB was a candidate for next Pat's HC when BB retired. Now, BOB is here.

I have stopped listening to EEI completely... Something I never thought would happen... I just couldn't stand to the constant negative spin on every single Patriot related story in the afternoon, and the sheer stupidity of Jermaine Wiggins & Chris Curtis in the mornings... Don't have time to listen to the mid day show, so i hold them blameless... Gresh is a motor mouth though, and there isn't a moment he doesn't try to fit in 15 words per second...

The station has become unlistenable... I'd love to get even Dale Arnold back at this point...

Gresh and keith was the only thing I could tune into and not just be miserable. It feels like everyone on the afternoon show is a fan of other teams. The morning show isn't a sports show, its walmart brand shock jock nonsense pretending to be a sports show.

Now the only thing I'd probably listen to is Keith and fitzy, but by the time they get on the air im home and doing other ****.

I feel internally, alot of how Kraft feels is that he sided with BB over brady.. feeling that BB is good enough to win post brady.

Organizationally RK was always able to conduct business, pay and usually not pay players all becuase of the GOAT..

There will never ever be a more humble superstar in any sport like GOAT. It looked like BB had the team back on track in "21 we were even a 1 seed at one point that season. "22 he put gas in a diesel engine... and wondered why it's not running good.

I have become a podcast listener myself. There are enough decent to good guys in the area who do their own podcasts (Evan Lazar, Tom Curran, Phil Perry, Greg Bedard, for example). I do listen to Zolak and Bertrand, but only the podcasts of the show after they post them so I can cherry pick what I listen to.

I get fatigue from the constant negativity via people like Adam Jones and Felger/Mazz. It takes all the joy out of being a sports fan when you hear nothing but criticism, doom and gloom. You'd think the Patriots were perennial cellar dwellers listening to these guys. I include Ted Johnson as well, what a disappointment that guy has become.

Yep, I stopped listening to sports radio around 2014, never missed it, and never went back.
