Hmmm. That statement does not seem to add up to 2-4.

“I would like to address that,” Kitchens said regarding the concept that Landry guaranteed a win. “I think I do a pretty good job of communicating with you guys and telling you as much as I can from a truth perspective. I would just like the same in return from you guys when you are talking to our players. Everybody in here knows that Jarvis was not guaranteeing a win.”

It actually very much does for the same reason the non-WR obsessed around here understand that spending too much precious cap space on WRs does NOT lead to wins. Building up your middle class across all three phases of the game...that leads to wins.
A little late to the (grabbing jerseys = lazy) debate.
But if true, Ty Law and Darelle Revis are the laziest bastards I've ever seen.
Bill thinks highly of LaCosse, evidently He’s gotten a bad rep here but we have hardly seen him. Bill’s opinion is based on much more. LaCosse is an athletic receiver who might add a new threat when he gets healthy.Amazing to me a guy like LaCosse is still on this roster but not gordon?

But then you only have to look at Atlanta and see a quality QB and two of the better WR's in the league that has led them to pretty much NOTHING since 2016. And if Atlanta was the exception that proved the rule then I'd be looking under every rock and squandering resources on WR's like every other fantasy obsessed fan as well, but they aren't.In the NFL, the only single position or position group that "leads to wins" is QB. Everything else flows from that. But any notion that a quality WR corps isn't a good, and important, thing to have would be crazy talk.
One could have made a similar argument when they signed Vrabel. Bill saw something we have not. Smart money is with Bill. There's an "A, therefore B" going on with that, though, Mack. This is the guy's 4th year in the NFL, which would give him a maximum of 64 games played. He has 26 games played and 30 total catches.
That'll get you a bad rap pretty much anywhere.
With very few exceptions, for the most part Brady has neutralized edge rushers over the years, either through blocking schemes, formations, quick releases, etc. Once in a blue moon you have a game like the 2o15 AFCCG, but that, like I said, is a rarity.Someone you will notice:
Smart money is with Bill.
I’m addressing the question of why we kept LaCosse instead of Gordon (IR) I can how Bill saw a bigger upside with LaCosse. Time will tell. How so? Whether it's the draft or free agency, BB misses more than he hits. And that's also true of every other personnel guy in the NFL, so don't think I'm bagging on BB by saying that.

You were crediting BB with seeing something others haven't seen, just because he's BB.
You used the Vrabel example in response to my pointing to LaCosse's less than stellar NFL career, to date.
Meanwhile, just this year alone, you may not be able to count the number of Patriots a/k/a BB FA WR failures on 2 hands (I'd have to look it up to count the actual number, and I'm not going to do that tonight). We could also look to the likes of players this year, and historically, at other positions who washed out in NE after BB "saw something" others didn't see (Mingo, for example).
But you're right, in that time will
I have counted the failures many times myself. I certainly share the frustration of many here. Gordon has demonstrated super talent, and LaCosse has done nothing. But, for reasons known to him, Bill keeps LaCasse on the roster and puts JG on IR. I hope the Vrabel comparison is apt, even if unlikely. Vrabel had no defensive tackle in 4 years with the Steelers so had done less than LaCosse. Not a perfect comparison as Vrabel hadn’t played much D in Pittsburgh, but the point is that people might not want to give up on LaCosse as long as Bill hasn’t.You were crediting BB with seeing something others haven't seen, just because he's BB.

But you're right, in that time will tell. When it comes to sports and personnel, rules have all number of exceptions. I was just noting that the bad rap you were talking about with regards to LaCosse is one that's warranted, to this point.
Anyway, enjoy your evening, and your weekend.
