On to Houston....

If osweiler takes the underneath stuff and crossing patterns that r usually there Vs the pats it will be a close game. You know mccourty will be playing 30 yards deep most of the time, so plays will be there. It's up to the guys up front to get home with the conservative approach of rushing 3 and 4 all day....

I thought it was onto green bay

LOL, I know eh! I guess with the Giants out now that the Packers are the boards new NFC boogeyman, but that'll change around 7:30pm eastern next saturday night when Seattle or Atlanta becomes the new feared team, it's getting hard to keep track these days

I'm a fan and not a player so I can say these things. There is absolutely no way we are losing to Houston in January at Gillette. I mean there's a chance like if we were the death Star and they had Luke Skywalker fly an x-wing and dropped a bomb down an exhaust port kind of chance. But this is not Hollywood. So I'm looking forward to us crushing them.

I believe KC has shown enough to believe they are tough -- especially true at home. But I firmly believe Pitt will win this based on Pitt's ability to step it up a notch in the POs while I have my doubts about KC's ability to do so.
We shall see...

Ben was seen in a walking boot.

Roethlisberger was in a boot in the post-game pressed.

The network should give JJ Watt his own booth, camera and microphone.

Shut down Lamar Miller, force Brock to throw, win the game by forcing them to score less than 10 points.

"Any given Sunday", but it will be an upset to epic proportions if Houston manages to steal a win at Foxborough. Don't want to sound arrogant but as long as we don't beat ourselves, we win. I hope Belichick prepares the team well before the game.
BB will definitely have this team preparing as if they were facing the 2000 Ravens on Saturday night! While some Pats fans may be overconfident the team will be very focused & determined to get a win by any means necessary

Just for the fun of it, someone try to post up the most realistic scenario that results in Houston winning.

I can't even think of it, it's on par with writing some sort of weird Star Wars meets Star Trek fan fiction, completely disconnected from reality.

If Osweiler is on, it could get dicey. Even average qbs carve our secondary up.

This was true a few years ago... not so much now. Any given Sunday and all but I like our chances.

The OL plays their worst game of the season. Or Brady gets injured.

With all due respect to TB12, I think we could win this with Jimmy. The only scenario I can come up with is a few big play TDs for Houston and the Patriots being held to FG. In terms of winning the game play in and play out, I don't think there is a scenario for Houston.

kansas city/steelers, seattle/atlanta, pittsburgh/kansas city...houston/patriots...one of these things is not like the other.

im sorry guys, I know we are supposed to be chicken littles and be scared of houston. but I dont see any way houston comes in and wins this game.

Jimmy has not played a meaningful snap in MONTHS. I doubt he is ready to step in and play like he did at the beginning of the year.
