Even really impactful RBs don't have much leverage these days. Kamara's timing mashes incredibly bad with the Saints' cap situation. Or maybe he just wanted to force a trade to another team that has the budget and willingness to pay him market value.

FWIW, apparently Gostkowski just bought a house in middle Tennessee (he was a Memphis grad). And if they were going to bring him back, I think they would have done that already.
