**** the Bucs, I do not think they are as scary as the hype around them suggests.

No evans, even if godwin plays he’ll be nowhere close to form. Defense SHOULD have a good day. We just have to avoid the turnovers- only thing that made today a ballgame.

From ChatGPT:

Defensive players cannot:
Mimic the quarterback’s cadence or snap calls
e.g., yelling “HUT!” or “SET!”
Clap loudly to imitate a shotgun clap cadence (if clearly meant to disrupt snap timing)
Make sudden verbal calls designed to confuse the offense’s snap count or audible system
Use hand signals that imitate the center's snap motions
The key element: if it’s intended to deceive or confuse the offense pre-snap rather than communicate defensively, it's illegal.
Yes, if the offense is using a clap as the snap count, you can’t mimic that either

Depends who plays, but I might be inclined to agree.

1PM start in the heat after 6 weeks away from it is always going to be a tough spot though.

Good point, I forgot about the heat. That could be rough. Luckily it's been pretty mild here in MA so it shouldn't be a huge adjustment.

Drake does get sacked a lot, but I’ve noticed that several of these are when he is running forward to try to escape the pocket and gets caught from behind behind the line of scrimmage. I know that’s officially a sack, but it’s a different feeling kind of sack than when a pocket passer just gets crushed standing flat footed or running away backwards.

I don’t really have a point, I’m just being Sir Isaac ****ing Newton.

If Drake runs out of bounds before reaching the line of scrimmage that is a sack too.

I am being Albert ****ing Einstein.
Quite the brain trust we have here.

They aren’t great at anything, they have been pretty average across the board but have been good at pulling out late wins.

You know the Patriots have arrived when they’re accused of cheating.

The NFL allows any offensive line to cheat these days with by standing yards off the LOS, G's assisting the C by communicating with the QB, the tomahawk chop signal to snap the football and T's jumping early.

This generation of NFL players are so whiney.

A heathy Egbuka is a challenge, which I'm sure you know as an OSU fan.
He's very smooth and polished for a young guy, always impressed by him in college and not surprised at his start in the pros.

Every team has a good receiver.
Every team has good players that make plays.
Tampa hasn’t been great at any phase. That doesn’t mean they don’t have any good players.

Will it be gonzo locked on egbuka?

Carlton Davis revenge game

Not sure what the deal is with Maye and Kyle Williams. But Maye missed a wide open Williams in the End Zone and then threw the one ball behind Williams badly.
The way Maye was spraying the ball around so wildly I’m not sure that throw had anything to do with Williams. It looked like so many other throws Drake missed today.

The defender had inside leverage and Demario cut that way as well so it made no sense that Williams would take it inside instead of just sitting down in the route. He was wide open and he ran TOWARD the defender.

Someone was talking about McCringleberry celebration last week.

One pump again.

Edit: this might be last weeks gif but he did it again today

Had my 2+ glasses of Whiskey before noon, had my huge leftovers and then proceeded to pass out from 12:45 to 4:00. Sigh. Thankfully no spoilers from my wife. She played her poker face [side note - that Lady Gaga song it always sounds like Something Her Face, but it might just be me] well, that I thought they were gonna lose when the Falcons tied it up.

After last week, I thought they had a decent chance to win it all. That still stands. Guys made plays when they needed to - including the ones on the other team to lose.

Disconcerting signals. Weren’t other teams accused of this as a way to counter the tush push?

I've come to the conclusion that this is all a bad game of telephone and what was really said was "damn the Patriots are really clapping our cheeks"

I mean, Maye missed 2 TDs in the low red zone today. Wide open. Missed Henry, wide open, probably another TD. Overthrew Douglas by a lot more than what it looked like on TV, another easy TD.

I dunno, man. Giving up draft capital for something that's not a pressing need doesn't seem like a great idea to me.
Don’t you understand man, none of those was Maye’s fault. Those receivers all ran the wrong routes or didn’t sit down when they should’ve or did sit down when they shouldn’t’ve. Or something. Read the room, it’s never Maye’s fault. The INT wasn’t his fault. The fumble wasn’t his fault. If we’d just trade for better receivers he’d be perfect…
