You can't simulate the snap with your hands or voice.
It is illegal for the defense to call out a snap count. Yelling “hut” or whatever the team uses is not allowed

Drake does get sacked a lot, but I’ve noticed that several of these are when he is running forward to try to escape the pocket and gets caught from behind behind the line of scrimmage. I know that’s officially a sack, but it’s a different feeling kind of sack than when a pocket passer just gets crushed standing flat footed or running away backwards.

I don’t really have a point, I’m just being Sir Isaac ****ing Newton.

Home teams win 77% of playoff games since 2020. Absolutely positively HAVE to win the division if they want to have any playoff success. I don't think a QB making his first playoff start is winning a road playoff game with a defense w no pass rush and no running game. Especially at Denver, at Buffalo, or inside a dome.
Definitely need to focus on winning the division. I think stretching to try to get the single bye week might be tough. It was easier to focus on when there were two byes. I'd rather plan on winning the division even if it means finishing as the 2 or 3 seed, rather than pushing for that 1 seed, and maybe you get it, but you suffer a couple more key injuries along the way, or injured guys re-aggravate existing injuries and end up being out longer and into the postseason.

The 1 seed, to me, would be a "nice to have" that you can worry about if it's still attainable in the final three weeks; not priority #1 with half a season left to go. Division first.

It’s important (in some cases) because 2nd and 13 is different than 2nd and 18.

I’ve also never seen a QB as good at overcoming a 1st or second down sack and converting 3rd and long

What are you referring to by “pushing”? Do you really think that contending teams sit out players and don’t make every effort to win games? Ever?

I’ve noticed that. First down or TD after a sack % seems really, really high

I think it's trending towards the winner of the AFC East getting the bye, Daniel Jones is going to have a few more games like today before the season is done, the Steelers still have to play the Ravens twice, Lions and Bills and the AFC West is going to cannibalise each other.

If Drake runs out of bounds before reaching the line of scrimmage that is a sack too.

I am being Albert ****ing Einstein.

Can that be considered cheating?
Morris heard it from Penix who heard it from the center who snapped the ball before his QB was ready.
Per PFT:
"Penix said, via a transcript from the Patriots. “For us, whenever I’m clapping, that means I want the ball. I knew [Neuzil] said he heard them clapping, and he thought it was my clap'

OFC if anyone bothers to watch the video they'll see it's BS. And like everything else, if/when it does happen it's still only a penalty if they call it. smdh
I just can't take Florio and his folks seriously. You can't report on something like this without doing your due diligence. Disgraceful for the coach to also say this without first checking.

Just wanted to see progress this year. Honestly, its been overwhelmingly positive.

Doubt anyone expected us to have the best winning percentage in the NFL in year 2 of Maye.

Just keep stacking wins.

I mean, he's a blogger with a brand deal.

People taking him seriously have always been ridiculous.

You have to win and extra game if you are not #1. And you get 2 home games. There is a reason Pats and Chiefs played in so many AFCC and SB games, they have generally been playing fewer games and often at home

Right now in my estimation buffalo is our top competition to the 1 seed so that race is the same anyway.

Daniel jones and indy took a huge step back today, id be surprised if they win 13. Chiefs will probably go 12-5 at best. Many say Denver but im still not sold on them winning the west, still think kc sweeps them and takes the division. Afc north winner will be 11-6 at best.

Just my estimation at the time that wed be likely to get the 1 seed at 13-4 by going 6-2 as long as one of those wins is buffalo. Its doable

Gift from Atlanta. Not sure if this team is as ready for prime time as I was wishing.

They’ve won 6 in a row. Who do you think is more ready?

As things start to take a sharper focus your take seems to make a lot of sense and seemingly sets up a Gillette Stadium matchup vs the Bills as the potential game that could decide the AFC one seed.

That sounds really fun to me.

If we beat Buffalo again it’s hard to imagine we would be worse than 13-4.

If we did lose to Buffalo and end up tied, we should both be 5-1 in the division but we would have a potential common opponent advantage because we had a loss to one of the 2 non-common ones.
