Waddle botched big time.

Elandon Roberts looks pretty darn good, by the way. He looks faster than last year. I'd love to see his coverage improve. He's a gamer.

Roberts filled that hole quick. He's a force in the run game. no YAC.

Is Belichick's notebook getting smaller from year to year?

#72 (Augusta, apparently: never heard of the guy) is having a rough day, I think his Patriots career will be a short one.

Why does Bob always cheapen out painting the endzone lol? Also, we need to get a blue endzone like the Super Bowl.

He has good pop and speed but he needs to play smarter. He is too aggressive sometimes and it hurts him.

Not a good sign waddle is getting reps over rookie Garcia.

Meanwhile, Brady's on the sideline getting all agitated over this less-than-precise beginning to this very important pre-season game he's not playing in. I love a perfectionist.

Augusta(?) isn't having a very good time on the nose so far, getting bullied by the Jags C.

Yeah, that 4th down was a great example. The stop wasn't going to happen from the moment Augusta got blown off the LOS, but Roberts made things worse by giving up position. I'm not worried about him, this is the time to make those mistakes and learn from them, but I think today has been a mixed bag for him.

Overall you have to like what the D did but the pass rush which we thought would be a concern is one. They are not getting there quick enough. Hopefully Wise and Rivers improve as the yer goes on. I love the coverage though. Hightower being in would help with the LB play and pass rush some.

The DTs were pushed around a bit. Branch clearly is the best run stopping DT on the team and whenever he is out it shows.

On the whole I give the D a 9/10 so far this game. Lets see the O do something.

Also I want Cyrus to return one even if he might not get much out of it. I want to give him the practice.
