At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.
Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.
This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.
If you do you will have your account suspended.
I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.
i agree with most your part except your last sentence. The issues posters are talking about are his current performances after the opt out season he just looks done to me. I hope if he retires he gets some coaching job or whatever job within the pats
He’s got a $1.625m roster bonus due on March 20 in addition to a $16m base salary. I don’t think anyone is taking that on, I suspect he’ll just wind up being cut. Back in NE being used properly he might be the perfect piece across from Judon.

Maybe being better than Harry is not a lot to talk about. Looks like a JAG to me. Nice player - nothing special. Does not look quick, or fast, or smooth enough to be a long term answer. It is not hard to look good against the Jags. We will see if he plays in the playoffs or not.

I apologize, I was talking about Harry. We’ve mostly given up on him and the Pats playing him tomorrow seems more mechanical than anything. Like, setting up to get rid of him later. I would really like to not see him play again.
Wilkerson had a nice day overall and good for him. That was cool but does not mean much.

There's not enough cap room to fully replace everyone, so utilizing an asset on already sunk (low) money might be the way to go. (UFA after 2023)
Additionally he's shown he's not good with his back to the play, but perhaps similar to DMac the change to having the play in front of him may allow him to play more freely and with better recognition. He's a good tackler and good in run support - of all the things he doesn't do well he does do those two things at at the minimum journeyman level and probably better. It's pure coverage where he suffers. Plus there's still Phillips and Dugger so his role will likely be much more "true centerfielder" than captaining the entire defensive backfield like Mac did.
Is it the #1 option? No way. Is it an option? Sure. Again there's a lot of needs on this team on the defensive side. High, DMac, JCJ are all possible to likely departures. If the big money goes to replace High and keep JCJ I am pretty sure they'll need to save in other areas. He isn't the only option either...Mills and even Jones are other possibilities.
I'm not like a lot of posters here that get stuck on "must have known name stars at every position otherwise they suck". That's not reality. There will be positions where you have journeymen, usually more than one in a rotational approach (like DL and RB) that are not stars nor are they paid like it.
Having a big name and paid stud #1 CB remains to me the biggest need (whether JCJ or other) and a replacement 4 down LB as #2 - so the money to do that likely means being less capable somewhere else to "pay" for that.
Might be Bledsoe, but I would be shocked if DMac does not play one more year. Agree that we have to solve the outside CB position x2, and I would love a fatty next to Barmore.
And that's another need I didn't even put in there. A true run stuffer probably can be had either later in the draft or reasonable contract. Unless it's another three down can stuff and rush - them types cost a lot - hence exacerbating the issue of where do you accept the risk of downgrade?
Not that it’s much of a surprise, but Pats are now officially eliminated from the #1 seed with the KC win over Denver. #2 and #3 seed still possibilities.
