I'd like to see a 4 WR package of Agholor, Bourne, Meyers and Wilkerson... respect Agholor and Wilkerson deep, leave room for Bourne and Meyers to work... Could be interesting. In all likelihood, Wilkerson will rotate with Agholor. Not sure what Harry does though. Guessing a healthy scratch again.
After last game Wilkerson deverses another shot with Harry out imo
Yeah he had a „drop“ but at lest he was open and caught balls and a TD
I would like to see an overview from Harry and Wilkerson snap counts and receiving yards

Argh. that looks a little long. Folk? Meyers? Harris?
It seems to me this list is always this long every game some names seem to be listed every week

Learn it. Know it. Live it.

Thanks
I meant it more like it is clear that Wilkerson did fine so far giving his limited game experience and he showed enougj to me to play over Harry

Interesting that terell Owens is a trending name on this site

With Duggar out. Who replaces him?

Thanks

Wilk already is a better receiving choice than Harry.

TO says he wants to play for the Bucs so that might be it.

Lazar is wrong with his assertion.

Pats are 11th in passing plays over 20 yards. One less than the Chiefs and more than the Jills, Chargers, Colts and Titans

Pats are 9th in running plays over 20 yards. Colts are #1 but Pats are ahead of Titans, Bucs, Chiefs, Bengals, Chargers and Rams.
Lazar is referring to this:

"They couldn’t hit on deeper throws all year, even against the Jaguars (Jones ranks 21st out of 32 quarterbacks in completion rate on passes over 20 yards)."

Yup, and they all play. Been that way all season. BB f*cking w/ NFL injury report BS rules.

I read it and I don't agree with his premise which is the NEP are on the weaker side of explosive offenses just because of Mac Jones comp % over 20 yards and because of that they won't be successful in the playoffs.

I wonder how the staff thinks about wade i thought he would have had a shot already especially since slot was not really well covered but he probably had injuries

Williams is not covering speedy slot WR either, he improved this year but should help S or LB with TE or bigger physical WR this fits him best imo
I rather have Mills at slot and Williams outside than Bryant slot and Mills outside at least right now

@RobertWeathers also commented. I am sure the coaching staff likes Wade or they would have moved him to the Practice Squad after 3 or 4 weeks. But the Pats rarely use a rookie, but they did use Malcolm Butler. .

I did not think Williams was that bad this year, but he does not play for some reason. With Dugger out we might see Williams as a TE cover. I assume Williams can not grasp the defensive switching, and he did get burned for a long pass (TD?) while watching the QB too much (BB hates giving up big plays when someone has a mental lapse).

I think Bryant is out with Covid, so that might force the Pats, with Dugger out too, to change things up. Will be fun to watch. BB sometimes seems stubborn about changing.

Seems like slants killed us against Miami and Buffalo, let's hope we find some way to fix that. Mills and Wade might both be better inside, and Williams is not an outside guy, so we will see. I assume Mills stays outside. Bryant is too slow to go outside when he comes back from COVID.

Bunch formations have caused some struggles as well but those slants were really annoying for sure
In the end I hope our pass rush will smash one of the worst o lines anyway

My belief is CBs in this D MUST learn how to play zone. It's takes time to learn it. It took Malcolm time. It took JC until Thanksgiving his rookie year to become a big part of their game plan. Hopefully that's the case with Wade.

I agree. It is a very simple 2D way to look at the game. A view from behind the stats book if you will.

But in the play against Jacksonville where Mac took a sack, he has to throw that ball 40 yards for Bourne in a 1 on 1. Mac was looking for Myers too much on that play, and all game.

I am not a Wilkerson guy. I see a guy, with a few exceptions, who gets no separation. Being better than Harry does not mean Wilkerson is good. As I earlier noted, his hands have been suspect all along. Not sure how much someone can teach themselves eye-hand coordination. But Wilkerson is very athletic and seems like a great teammate.

Agreed, but it is well past Thanksgiving and Bryant got the start over Wade in December.

Bryant was here last year. To your point he picked it up quick in 2020.

I view Wilk as an upgrade to Harry. That doesn't mean much but it's an improvement.
