Yes, but have you looked at the resumes of players like Ed Too Tall Jones, LC Greenwood, Joe Klecko, Mark Gasteneau, Richard Seymour, or Jim Marshall. None of those guys are in the Hall. I don't look at Chandler Jones as the best of his generation at DE.

Also some are total homers. You still have crazies claiming the Pats draft WR/CB well, that NKeal Harry isn't a bust or that Michel or Maroney were worth a 1st rounder. Just understand they will defend anything as homers first. For me I will diss things from 05-08 and 2013-2019 because too many John Carroll morons in the organization has a clear correlation with organizational idiocy which is less related to BB himself (but he unfortunately listens).

Richard Seymour made the All Decade Team in the 2000s and still isn't the Hall. LC Greenwood made the All Decade team in the 1970s and still isn't in the Hall.

We can look at other positions and I am sure there are plenty of All Decade Team players not in the Hall.

But people do not look at Jones as an Aaron Donald or Reggie White. Again, Richard Seymour was a better player than Jones and he still isn't in the Hall and who knows if he ever will be.
