It’s one week they didn’t look good. I assumed the offense will start slow with growing pains, rookie left side offensive line, Drake getting familiar with a new system, I didn’t expect a lot of points.

Defense missed Gonzo today, Geno don’t throw for 350+ if he’s playing, played really well in spurts but too many big plays.

We just saw clutch in Buffalo. Drake maye has none of that thus far

Ok, unless the Bills overcome a 15 point deficit in the next 7 1/2 minutes, the once illustrious (well, except the Jets of course) AFC will be 0-4 and the *only* Conference to not have a win! This particular embarrassment may have occurred before but I can’t recall. Sounds like we may need to start a “pool” to select which team will become first in our division to win a game this year!
This guy's fault

People thinking Boutte should be cut were fkn ******ed.

By the way, today proved yet again why those calling for getting rid of Boutte in some way are out of their minds. On a team with limited options, getting rid of a guy who has developed trust with your young QB is suicidal.

Bedard ripped Maye in his post game comments, and I agree with him, sloppy, mechanically not good. His sprays to open WRs is highly concerning.

Allen was awful his first two seasons.
Allen was fine his 2nd year and he won 10 games. Even during rookie year were he was really bad you could see flashes that the game wasn’t too big for him.

Maye is completely the opposite. He only won 1 game in his career and it was against the Bear. Not even sure that count as a win. Only score more than 20 points once. And you can clearly see he crumble as soon as the game matter. The game is too big from him. We need a new QB next year

Former players on Denver and LV have said he's an arrogant prick and a terrible teacher. He acts like the QB can do what Tom Brady can do. This is why you see a lot of so called "guru's" struggle when they leave the nest.
The play calling was fine today. Maye killed drive because of his inaccuracy. Maye is the biggest reason we lost this game.

Drake was so shaky and insecure. He made bad decisions, missed opened receivers and was inaccurate. However it is the beginning of his second year. New coach, new offensive coordinator, new players... I am far away from comparing him to Mac Jones or losing faith in him.
I did not write it but this team is not a con tender , not even a playoff team. The only thing this season I expect is to see a progress and players who want to win. To build chemistry between players and coaches , build a winning culture again.

Real killer is all of the penalties being committed on the 1st play on a number of drives. Constantly putting yourself at a disadvantage playing catchup is not winning football.

But I’m not overly concerned. I knew this offense was going to start slow first part of the season. Maye doesn’t even have a full season under his belt, new complicated offense, two rookies on the line, they were never gonna come out and pop off, don’t care which team they’re playing.

If I remember right, Josh Allen was only an average QB for his first two seasons right?
Yeah but you could see flashes that he had the intangibles. Last year everytime Maye has the ball in his hand at the end of games to win it he threw a pick. It is uncanny how unclutch he is.

Yesterday, ball in his hand to put the game away at the beginning of the 2nd half what does he do? Threw a pick. He had another fumble that we almost lost. That’s another 2 turnovers game. The game is too big for him. You can’t teach that that’s why Maye is a bust

I hate to make this comparison already but Zach Wilson had a lot of the exact same issues Maye is having right now with sailing throws and turnovers. Just saying. If Allen is an example of the payoff for a raw QB, Wilson is the “payoff” the other way.

All I know is Maye has a lot of work ahead of him and so do the coaches. Head scratcher why he sat out the Giants preseason game.
Maye is closer to Zach Wilson than Josh Allen.

Josh Allen had flashes of his intangibles his first two years. Maye is consistently proving games after games that he doesn’t have the intangibles. Comes up small everytime the moment gets bigger

Come on Man. Josh is arguably the best QB in the world and in his 8th year. Maye has played 14 games.
Josh Allen was showing signs of his intangibles even in his awful rookie year.

He had 3 game winning drive in his rookie year and 5 his second year. When Josh Allen had game winning drive in his rookie year Maye has game ending INT.
