Game Day Thread Official Post Game Thread- Saints beat the Pats

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Can't believe Bolden led all RBs in snap count. Mac led in rushing yards (28).

How does this GM/HC believe that: Bolden > Sony.

Unbelievable. Our deep RB corps is decimated. W/o a solid run game, this team is going nowhere unless we believe Mac can pass >50 times per game.

What a cluster F.

The second run by Bolden when we were in the red zone ran towards Jordan while Jonnu tried to block him 1on1. Why would they ever implement a play design that runs towards one of the best DE in the NFL while getting blocked 1on1 by your TE. Not only was it implemented, but it was one of the playcalls in what was arguably the biggest down for the NE offense at that point of the game and we had our backup special teamer RB in the game. Yeah Mac audibled to it, but why was that even a play option?

I want to see this offense with Trent Brown back & Bourne starting in place of Jonnu. Give Mac time & run 3 WR as it’s been way more productive than the 2 TE packages.

Does Mac follow in the foot steps of Jim Plunkett? So far it's looking that way.

Who gets the blame for the pi$$ poor offensive line? BB the GM?

Mac is lethal against the blitz but it is OC malpractice to structure your game plan for the QB to keep taking big hits in order to complete a throw. The OC needs to be fired for putting our most important young asset in long term jeopardy.

Absolutely the wrong conclusion. LESS shotgun.

The 5man protection is worthless. Defensive ends are teeing off not even slowing down for a possible run. Shotgun is getting Mac KILLED. Lazar has generally been solid but this analysis is flat out wrong to take 1 clip. Mac is getting KILLED from all the shotgun just like Brady had to find Alex Guerrero in 2005/2006 from all the dumb shotgun body hits

Is that the one where Cam just held Jonnu w/ one arm? I miss Gronk.

Our middle linebackers are not up to the task. Today Saints Demario Davis showed what NFL linebackers should be. Dont'a is done.
If they could committ PI and hold like he does they would be

Ok. But strategically it's dumb if Onwenu is a top10 NFL RT and also an elite LG, but RT is a far more valuable position for a pass happy offense, and you keep him at LG and play total sh-t scrubs at RT, and by the way also keep Karras on the bench who can play good LG. Onwenu is a great player and playing him at LG is dumb.
