Game Day Thread Official Post Game Thread- Pats Destroy the Jets

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.
This thread has taken a disturbing turn.

He is not wrong. I saw a blind drunk guy peeing in one of the fish ponds in Japan (Epcot). He got escorted out immediately.

Drinking around the world is a sport for some in Epcot.

IIRC, he got plummeted inside the pocket, after he threw the ball...

But this tackle actually made me think a lot on how the avoidance of concussive hits, specially on QB, has changed the game. If you check the replay, you can the that Judon tried to wrap him and bring down but trying fall before Wilson, to avoud a RtP. However, the speed of it all, made him fall over Zach's knees. It looked awful on video.

if he could go at full at QBs, Wilson would have taken the biggest hit of this career, maybe, but I dont think he would have injured his leg
I think he blew out his knee on the prior play, near the sidelines.

How did he know he was pissing into a pond?

I have no idea why it took so long to recognize that his position is RT…period.
Because it’s not. He’s best as a G but he’s also better at RT than any of browns backups.

I don't think he really knew. Everyone else did, especially the giant fish in there.

That's really not fair. EVERYONE knew that Lance had uber physical gifts, but he also was coming into the league with the LEAST experience of any of the big 5 QB's. IIRC he only played about 3 games his last season at a 1AA school. I would have been massively surprised he he HADN'T sucked at this point of his career. But his story won't be written this season. Who knows he might never get "it" and the league will always be too fast for him.

Now if you are looking for a bust among the first round QB's. I give you Justin Fields. When you compare his experience vs TB with Mac's, its like night an day. He REALLY looked helpless out there.

The first time Fields played a preseason game, the writing was on the wall. Sometimes it’s just so obvious.

I think he is just an elite OL who is capable of playing either guard or tackle at a high level.

I would put Brown at LT and Wynn at LG when Brown is back.
Big career hit for Wynn. Question is whether he'd accept it (he should). Safer to go back to the original planned lineup -- which looked very promising in preseason.

As weak as Epcot has become, it is still my favorite place. Fish and chips in England with one of those yards of beer while sitting on a bench by the waterfall in Canada.

I know I am getting old when I mention that before any rides!

Getting a good buzz whilst taking a stroll around the world drinking $9 beer. It got quite expensive but when you enter those tourist traps, expensive is relative.

A step in the right direction today. Especially the offense. Only one criticism: why is N'Keal Harry still on this team?

I have no idea why it took so long to recognize that his position is RT…period.

Same staff that benched Jacobi Meyers last year till week6, benched Karras this year till week6, started NKeal Harry last year until he got hurt. The staff clearly has no clue how to evaluate offensive talent.

Umm, this is a Disney World thread.

But I'll answer re Nkeal. He is our jump ball receiver and a darn fine run blocker. That's my version of polishing a turd.

1 win and we're talking about Disney World.. disgusting.

I kid. Good work boys, that's a good ole fashion Pats ass whooping. Let's prepare for a significant step up next week.

He did make a nice play on that one catch. And he is a big body for run blocking

A run blocking WR is as useful as (slightly more so I guess) than a throwing RB.

Our first 3 WRs aren't so bad at run blocking that it makes sense to ever take them off the field before NKeal

I think the cap number is dictated by the slot. It wouldn’t make sense to cap the salary and ignore the bonus.
hmmm... i think there is an issue with terminology here... i am splitting the two which are under the same umbrella... its the mechanics of moving money around under that umbrella thats negotiable...

heres the article

he explains it better than I can
