Did you see Mac Jones' QB rating in the last three games. Its a trend.

1. NY Jets QB Rating 80
2. Ind. Colts QB Rating 89
3. NY Jets QB Rating 105
Agree

Until the entire offense, starting with the OL and play calling, shows improvement the the team has a hard ceiling. Losing Andrews is not a good sign. Hopefully Brown will come back with the necessary focus. I have not seen why he was replaced by Wynn.

EDIT: just saw that Brown was sick. That is good news compared to injury or attitude problems.

Guess you didn't watch the game.
While Wynn started in place of Brown, Wynn went out early with an ankle injury forcing Brown into the game. Brown played like 70% of the snaps.

Hard to say who will be starting on the Oline against the Viking due to all the injuries. It "might" look something like this ...

Brown-Strange-Russey or Ferentz-Onwenu-Cajuste

Thanks, even I could understand that part. Why didn't Brown start?

I'm super curious what happens on Thursday. The Vikings should be the better team, but they got absolutely dunked on by Dallas today. Short week, so only so much game planning can be done. Anything's possible.

The defense can hopefully keep Minnesota from scoring too much, but they'll most likely score more than 3. Pats offense will need to produce, but the Vikings defense is certainly a lower tier than NYJ's.
We'll see how the Pats do in the dome.

Good no call

At this point Strange to center becomes interesting both short term and long term. Can he shotgun snap?
Pretty sure he practiced it at the Senior Bowl.

Shout out to Webb for making key block on TD return. Great play by first pushing Jete gunner out of bounds and then somehow found a second job way down the field for a key block.

Looks like a great midseason pickup to replace key loss in Davis. Could be another udfa gem for the Pats. Anytime a player is signed from Ravens even if its PS one should pay attention.

Also shout outs to Jennings and Mitchell who is continuing his excellent ST season. Schooler and Peppers as well making good decisions. The whole unit looked like a beautifully designed machine on this one.

After disappointing 2021 this unit certainly bounced back with plenty of fresh young blood. Despite losing 3 key vets in Bethel, Davis and King, and likely losing St.Mathews after the season, special teams are looking bright.

For years this team had one of the best O-lines and now it has one of the worse. Some of it has to be assigned to coaching, there is no one like Dante ! I miss him !!
Bump. Bring in a real Oline coach. Bring back Popovich.

He is owned by his ineptitude.

AND the Patriots. That's four straight, without question the Pats are in his head. He began melting down over it in the post-game press conference three weeks ago.

Is he wrong? Is Mac STILL Processing the defense the way he should? Is he seeing the field the way he should? How many times did he throw to one side while completely ignoring the other and far more open receivers? I counted at least twice he never looked to his left, missing wide open players who'd have had 20+ yards..
That's not the point. If I make a post saying the holding call on Cajuste was a farce, he turns it into Mac never being able to make a throw inside the red zone.

That's what I'm talking about.

Some ability to stay on topic, rather than having a constant agenda.

This shows how useless QB rating is as a stat. He has been terrible in the red zone which is what really counts. Its about putting points on the board and getting into the end zone.
I think Bill and Patricia have scared him stiff.
He is so afraid of turnovers that he has zero courage or poise in the pocket.
QBR is pretty meaningless.

Loved how Harlan called out Schooler’s block on the PR. Kid is in on play after play on special teams. Even the announcers are looking for his number. Impact player so far.

He was sick. A couple of other guys were sick during the week too. It always happens in Nov. and Dec.
Thanks, I just saw that the NESN website is saying that it was a coaches decision. Not sure why BB does not support his player if he was sick.
