Belichick must be very happy. He's been beside himself all the last games about not having enough to get on the defence about. The defence today gave up 6 yards an attempt in the run game. So finally, for the first time this season, he'll be able to get back to his normal dissatisfied self.

In 2007 I laughed my ass off watching our Techmo Bowl offense go wild. I am doing the same watching this defense.

According to the broadcast. take away every Offensive TD the Pats have scored this season, and they are still 4-2-1. That's right - over .500, and better than 20 other teams. Insane.

I wonder how much of that was game planning. Lock down some very dangerous receivers, and dare the Browns to win with the run. Trust int he RZ D to limit the damage.

Also - it seemed to me (only got to see the game on NFLRZ) that there was some sloppy tackling. Yes, the big run early turned into a fumble, but the 50 or so attempts to tackle Chubb leading up to the strip were weak at best.

jeezus krist...do any of you nitpickers LIVE in N.E? Don't you understand how unbelieivably harsh and abhorrent the weather was today??? Passing game?? I was shocked they completed ANY passes. THAT was a giant shytshow, the kind of game that 30 ,40 years ago would have been 6-3 or 10-7. Jeezus the goddamned nitpicking is MADDENING. I don't care HOW they won, I only care that they, the NEP, DID WIN!!!!!@!

High had a missed tackle on the long Chubb run.

How often does that happen?

Its him. There aint no mistake.

Kitchens is kin to Otis Campbell

I think Brady has regressed a little. I'm happy we won and I'm not really shocked, but Brady seems less on point.

He's 42. He's not the all-world superstar he used to be but he's certainly far better than, say, late career Manning.

That and the OL...no Gronk for the first time in a long time.

A changing O

2 missed FG's...1 was blocked and the weather was crappy. Not worried yet.

I was at the game. It was just rain. Not too windy and it was 53F. And while it was raining hard at kickoff and in the first quarter the rain dialed back a decent amount for non-trivial stretches of the game.

Did you not watch this game? Brady was damn good last game and good again today.

That's what I mean. He's still good. Just not all-world anymore.

You may want to wait until he is playing in front of a healthy OL. He is under pressure constantly, the run game has no holes and the team still puts up 30.

Jules has seen BB naked in the hot tub so I'll take his word for it that that is what BB looks like beneath the hoodie.
