It just makes me think of so many games I’ve seen before where a really good team turns the ball over a bunch of times for whatever reason and somehow still stays in the game and wins it or comes a hair shy. I always thought in those situations “wow, that team really showed how good they are to manage that despite the mistakes.” Today the Patriots were that team, which tells me they’re in for some good things if they can clean things up.
Yeah, can’t see Stevenson fumbling in the cold, wet, snow…. But, you are right, they hung tough to the *bitter* end!

Spillane had a good game:

15 tackles, 10 solo
1 PD
1 TKFL
1 INT, 37 yard return

P.S. it is Vrabel. He played here, some of you have his jersey. Vrabel's name is on the TV like 40 times a game day.
He was all over the field.
Eliss was replaced by Gibbens and Mapu and that seemed to make a big difference

And they weren't great, but at least they weren't the worst off-ball lb in the league.

Wasn't way behind him. He had 2 hands firmly on the ball.
Gonna have to agree to disagree. It was way behind him... ESPECIALLY since there was no one around him. No reason for it to be soooo poorly thrown.

Rogers threw for 139yds and Steelers won???
But, 5 sacks for Maye, and 0 for Rogers.

Maye needs to be smarter in those 4th qtr moments. The 2 bad collapsing pocket moments cost the game.
1 was the fumble, the other the sack that he should have just thrown it away.

Not sure what that has to do with I said

I literally said he played worse in game 13 than he did in game 1.

Not that he's worse.

You're seeing what you wanna see.

Ok, you are just wrong. Not really really wrong. Maye in his first game turned the ball over three times and only completed 60.6% of his passes. He one more TD, but one of his TDs was in garbage time. Today he completed 75.7% of his passes today.

Hard game to watch. Never seen a team try so hard to give away a win. We were clearly better than the Steelers.

Someone understands what they saw.

Exactly. Was Eliss injured or benched?

Gibbens is a good fit at LB in this system. I expected he would be the starter before long while getting back after last years injury.
Mapu is a good coverage LB.

Yes. Maye has been really, really good as those 2 yard passes the last two weeks.

Beautiful to watch.

If he was hurt, I didn't hear about it anywhere.

And you constantly *****, what’s your point? He’s young, have patience or find some other bridge to live under.
Looking at it totality.. I think most would say we would probably have the record we have through 3 games.. Panthers aren't a cake walk next week.. they have much better skill position players than the steelers.. leggett and king tet.. that last TD for Pitt Marcus was beat off the line of scrimmage.

Don’t waste your breath.

Stevenson when asked what hes going to do to address his fumble problems.

The same thing - Stevenson

Yea it was a pretty bad performance from everyone.

You claim he was hit as he was throwing. The rest of us saw him get scared from the broken protection, move backwards and heave the ball out of bounds while being slammed into the ground by two unimpeded defenders.

All because in 13 games he still hasn't figured out how to avoid it.

That's on him just as much as it's on everyone else.

LOL! We have seen Brady do the same thing all the time. You got two defenders coming down on you and cannot step into your throw and hit someone you throw down out of bounds towards a receiver to save from getting a sack.

Wow! You just hate the guy. He did the right thing on that play. You can’t make the play and you can just throw it away before you take the sack, that is what you do.

All good will from the week 2 win erased and then some. That was absolutely gross to watch.
Very hard game to watch….Maye didn’t have a ton of time to make reads but even when he did his decision making wasn’t the best and the turnovers hurt from him and RB’s. The penalties are also a killer and we have to fix that going forward. OL still an issue…..secondary still weak especially without Gonzalez and it’s looking more likely that we may not have him every week…but hopefully soon. RB need to hang onto the Fing ball…..inexcusable that we have 2 in one game that are lost and there was no rain. Lastly, maybe it’s time to give Chism a chance and not Demario (if both can’t be on the field). But we need quick slants, outs and screens like back in 01-03’ especially because of our OL deficits. This is a game we should have won but oh well onto next week…..

Now we're comparing Maye to Brady.

To say I hate Maye, with zero history of knocking the guy because I finally had enough of his poor decisions is wild.

He did not have a good game today. It's not a debate.
