You can't turn the ball over 5 times and expect to win. A waste of a fantastic defensive effort, and another pretty damn decent day by Drake Maye.

Or the fact the Steelers barely won with an opponent playing like that

The Patriots just took a game that should have been a win and threw up all over themselves and gave the Steelers a game and just turned a potential 3-1 start into a situation where now that Carolina game is a must must win, it's a loss away from being another dumpster fire of a season.

The Panthers are looking at that thinking "it's only the Patriots, should be a win" just like we are for them.

Stevenson alone is 80% responsible for this loss.

That said, turning the ball over FIVE TIMES as a team is just pathetic. And you might as well count Douglas’ terrible effort on the final play as a turnover too.

Not what I expected from a Vrabel coached team.

This is probably a top 5 most aggravating regular season loss we’ve had. Might a knee jerk reaction, but not far off.

That many turnovers is completely inexcusable. Full stop.

I'm not overreacting to anything this early. This is basically preseason football. Maye throws a tight accurate ball. Yes, he does mental mistakes and hero ball. Good news, this can be corrected. The kid is friggin 23 years old. I've watched 40 years of football, he's talented and mental mistakes can be corrected, so I won't hurl myself off of a high building just yet. Rham is a fumble machine and needs to be benched, period. We easily could have won thus game but turnovers killed us. This can hopefully be fixed as the season rolls on.
